Wish there was some way to figure out if they are going to address some of the localization writing in this game.

Kind of a longshot I know.

Maybe they have to rewrite/revoice a lot of things to incorporate Kasumi-chan so they decide to address things that sound weird or confusing or otherwise off-putting at the same time?

They already stated they're going to write her in and do it as much as they can without changing too much. So, it's supposedly going to be more seamless than how they handled Marie for P4G, where she definitely seemed tacked-on, as opposed to this.

Kind of annoying to do an expansion a mere 2 years after the original.

In future I am going to start waiting a few years after the original release since ATLUS keep doing these.

I like the trailer but if I knew they would add this much to the original I would have abstained from buying the original Persona 5.

I think I'm just gonna go back and finish the game. I stopped it really far in (casino stage) because the localization bothered me. It's a bit silly to hope for an overhaul if they're not talking about it

I'm so looking forward to this. I probably won't play it until I get a PS5 and use backwards compatibility though since I don't have a PS4. I'm glad I held off and didn't get the original on PS3.
Including that CD is awesome as I'm sure the updated soundtrack will be amazing.

I'm still salty for P5 Switch cucked goddamnit. I swear if they released a complete version later...

Btw this looks like a step in the right direction, even though I dread going through all the bloated dungeons - gonna exploit fusing system to blast through them, still excited for this.

Can't wait to find out what kind of obscure japanese god she'll turn out to be (same with the other new character)

Probably not a Japanese god. The recent Persona games have all stuck to a single pantheon when it comes to the characters and character Personas. P3 was the Greek gods, P4 was Japanese gods, and P5 was western literature *P5 Spoilers*
and the Greek gods again, and with a manifestation of the Demiurge as the final boss.

If they are gods or manifestations of the collective unconscious or something similar, they will probably be from western literature and traditions.

No port begging damn it.
I really wish it was on a portable. I barely have time to clean my house these days, let alone set down for a 150+ hour RPG :(

I own PS4 and still like to see Persona 5 on Switch but Nintendo is getting SMTV and as much as I love Persona series, if you give me choice between SMT and Persona, I will always go with SMT.
