There are various forms of PT available on PC that play identical to the original. So at least there's that.
I know people love PT and are obsessed with it, but this was going to happen at some point. Honestly I'm surprised people weren't held back from accessing it sooner. It's a demo, no one paid for it, etc. As a huge Silent Hill fan and someone that REALLY wanted Silent Hills to happen, no one should really be surprised by this or expect otherwise.
Besides, this also could be a blessing in disguise. It could mean that in fact, a new Silent Hill is on the horizon. Them suddenly cutting PS5 functionality could have something to do with licensing, legal, etc. Or, like Yong said, could just be the fact that it is advertising a product that doesn't and will not exist.
But it could be anything. I just think these folks need to let go.
