Just started the first game for the first time, it seems impossible to hear any of the dialogue, even after turning down the BGM and SFX I can hardly understand what anyone is saying, and there's no setting to turn it up

I didn't notice that cause I was playing in the middle of the night with the sound off. But it makes me wonder if it's due to the audio previously being played through the Wii remote speaker (which was freaking cool btw)...and when they combined it with the main audio for the Switch release they didn't get the mix right? That would be pretty disappointing if true.
