Sniper Elite is a good addition, I'm always going to play those but never get around to it. Any of these smaller titles hidden gems I should look into?

RE7 is leaving.
I wish the ‘we finally got this game already on the service but now on the cloud’ games off their advertising image, just clutters the space.
Hope Sniper Elite 5 is fun.
Also hope they are saving up for a big June with the Showcase.

There are cloud only players out there, or people that want to know what they can stream without needing to download. Example: Playing SKATE on PC now via cloud where it's never been available before.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?

That's the hope.

Last year they did a motherload of Bethesda games the day of. Including the new announcements.

Let's see if they do another load this year. Maybe some Activision games ?

FYI, DOA is on sale finally.

I'm interested in Skate, Hardscape Shipbreaker, Sniper elite, Pac Man. I'll try little witch but not expecting anything. Some early access Korean indie game.

I've also never tried Jurassic Goldblum, so I think I probably shall.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
I mean, Vampire Survivors is only $3 so you should own it anyway...

But I've played it for 36 hours now and it's my favorite game in a long long time so... everyone with Game Pass has no excuse.

Well it's not on consoles right? I don't think Her Story is either.

I'm sure after Starfield delay they're gonna announce some killer Game Pass additions...

Jokes aside, it's a pretty weak list. Other than Sniper Elite 5, nothing there interests me. Maybe that Witch game, but I would have to check what it is about. Hopefully after June's event they come up with more interesting titles.

Could you tell me about it?
Sure. It's a twin stick shooter / bullet hell game with a Castlevania aesthetic. The twist is that instead of being twin stick, it's just "single stick" (in that you walk around and your weapons autofire).

The addictiveness comes in because enemies die and drop EXP orbs that you pick up to level up your character. When leveling up, you get a random chance to either increase the strength of an existing weapon or to choose a new weapon (or powerup). The game has a massive variety of weapons and powerups to choose from (30ish?) which makes for some really cool combos. Speaking of combos - if you have the right combination of weapons and powerups, your weapons (if at max level) can evolve into even more powerful weapons.

Enemies start out with low HP and are slow. As time goes on, the game throws more and stronger enemies at you. The goal is to survive as long as possible. You also earn money through random drops, and money is saved between games to buy powerups so that you start out stronger each time - so it has some roguelike elements as well. And there are about 20 different characters you can unlock through various means.

Boss enemies in the game also drop treasure chests in addition to EXP orbs, and each treasure chest has a chance to have 1, 3, or 5(!) random power increases for your existing weapons (and increasing amounts of gold). The animation for these looks like a slot machine, it's all very exciting.

Everyone IRL I've recommended the game to has been hooked on it. It's easily the best $3 I've spent in a very long time, and the fact that it's coming to Game Pass for free means I can recommend it to more people.

Shipbreaker is an intresting one because one day they suddenly decided to change this fun game about chopping up space ships into what feels like a lecture of how evil captalism is... not like a subtle hint kind, like screaming in your face... essentially the game keeps trying to tell you how much you hate your job, but this is as odds with you the player actually having fun chopping up space ships and trying to get the most salvage off one.

Wanna know why the game went this direction? Well it suddenly changed when an old friend joined the team...

Yep Jennifer Scheurle

Looks like she got ejected in 2021 after blackbird concluded their internal investigation on harassment according to her work history.

She was afterall lead game designer, but yeah the damage is done... it was a shame because back when it had little audio logs hidden away in the wrecks it was far more fun, a kind of story told by your actions rather than sat down and being lectured at the end of every shift.

It's one of those games that so radically changed during early access that I kind of wish I could get a refund.

Will the Activision deal be totally finalized in the next two weeks?

Just wait until Xbox acquires Square Enix

Damn bought JWE2 two months ago for 32 bucks and only played around 18 hours. Should have waited. I liked the first one more.

Ooh! The original Jurassic World Evolution was quite enjoyable! I've been eyeing part 2 to be on a good sale, so this is even better!

Yeah, I'm gonna let GP lapse. If you're going the whole year without having any first-party games, you got to do better than this.

I've actually played a few games on Xbox lately, but I still had to buy them all except Tunic, as they aren't on GP.

As it stands now, I might spend $180 for the year of GP, just to play Tunic which I could have just bought or waited for the Switch release.

JW2, the photography game and Vampire survivor for me once i get through Danganronpa 2
No snark, but I just don't get games like Danganronpa. I think I'm open to any kind of game, but I totally zoned out at least 5 times during the seemingly neverending introduction.

Anyway, not the greatest of drops, but I'm looking forward to annihilate nazi balls in SE5 and I will check out Little Witch and JP game.
