Its exactly why I dont take any of the awards in VGA shows seriously, the awards has become less about awarding great games and more about trying too hard to keep "image" if gaming industry is "serious" as movie industry, so games with "sexy" designs gets in away of that in their eyes.

Also there is huge double standard against Japanese games in western media, in games like Cyberpunk or Last of Us 2 there is full one nudity and sex and yet those are considered "brave" while Bayonetta has zero nudity but only showing little skin its going too far, so much so that in Bayonetta 3 they have to put "naive angel mode" in order for people dont get offended.....I mean am I crazy here? because this shit makes zero sense to me.

I never played one of these before, but the scope and scale of some battles in those videos reminds me of God of War 3. This is probably going to end up being my first. The tail end of October clear through all of November is going to be a busy gaming period for me, it's looking like.

True but looks designed that way for better background contrast so your eyes stay on ultra vivid action. It's interesting, kind of like cheap HDR. Looks stunning considering the Switch hardware.

These videos are great. Was already a day one purchase but the hype is starting to grip me.

Design is all over the place and lacks consistency, but you can feel the passion of the developers. Probably going to be a very fun game in the end.

Pretty sure Bayonetta 2 looked better on the Wii U.

Fell the same way. But maybe it may look better but imo Bayonetta 2 (my GOTY 2014 btw) color tones were much better overall i feel, the colors feel abnormal, like it's cold in Bayonetta 3.

for WiiU for Bayonetta 1 and 2 , i being playing with JP audio and english subtitles

thus for part 3 i am unaffected in anyway and i shall continue to support nintendo and PG
lastly , the yen exchange rate is good here , so more digital games for me

It's quite probably the best looking Switch game. Also it is nice to see a game with not a cell shaded art style on switch. Great game for Switch players.

I don't think it should be interpreted that way. It's about giving the players the option to chose whether they want that stuff or not. We've had gore and violence sliders/options in video games for years, and I think this should be viewed the same way.

I'd also like to point out that it's not really just about nudity and sex. Nudity, Sex, and sexualization are very different things.

No thanks,after finally getting around to playing 1 a few years ago,it still pales compared to even DMC 3 and after hearing how big of a step down 2 was from 1,how people can get themselves hyped over this one are beyond me. Add in Astral Chains perfomance issues and this just doesn't seem appealing.

wow. the art direction in this game is some ugly shit. the facial animation of Enzo is scary. At one point it looked like viola's face was falling off. the fashion is gawd ugly.
what they did to my boy Rodin is rude. And I don't believe it has to do with power. 2 looked better.

The style is just very unflattering on first impression. Vanquish has better facial animation than this.


the music is great so far. i like the chanting. nier-esque.

getting used to the combat it's kinda diff. demon summon is cool. didn't think it'd be instant.

Image quality was better in bayo 2 but there's a lot more effects and detail in the enemies in this one. The facial detail is much greater in this whether it's ugly or not. Violas character model esp.

Helena Taylor's voice is sorely missing. Feels a bit like am impostor bayonetta. Sorry but Jennifer hale is nowhere near as good for this character.

I'm afraid to find out what the resolution is in handheld

Astral Chain issues but it didnt make the game to run poorly. Still having a blast and fun to play. Also we Nintendo fans dont care about resolution, only good enough performance and best gameplay.
