Hey Ladies, it’s time to get wet again! I am not done yet and still dreaming of you in Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Dry Twice. I left New Lost Wages, stranded in Cancum, and had prepared to marry my only true love, Faith. But, unforeseen events interrupted us and we’ve become separated again! She is somewhere in the famous, sunny and huge Kalau’a archipelago and I have to find her. Help me — if I don’t find her soon, I think I may burst!

No obstacle will keep me away from my beloved, my Faith, not even the wild and untamed islands of Kalau’a. Those lovely island ladies can only distract me for so long as my heart’s compass only points in one direction - Faith! Care to set sail with me as a true pirate and become a real gold digger? Join my crew on this glorious quest — you may just end up soaked to the bone!
  • Explore the Kalaua’ archipelago with all its mysterious and beautiful islands - featuring over 50 handdrawn locations.
  • Meet over 40 new and old friends from Wet Dreams Don’t Dry and chat up some fresh new feminine friends
  • Help Larry solve difficult and exciting (and maybe a little erotic) new riddles and complete quests, providing him with a truly happy ending.

Leisure Suit Larry I-III were the best. It went to shit after that. LSL III was super fun when you got to switch to Passionate Patti mid-way through the game!

Larry 6 might be the best of the whole series though. Really good puzzles in that one.

Plus you can't dead end yourself like the infamous Larry 2 (though I still love LSL 2)

Love for Sail was surprisingly good so I'm cautiously optimistic.
Love for Sail was great, I couldn't force myself into playing any (update) OTHER game from the series though.
Still cautiously optimistic.

PS
Nice avatar.

I love how they skipped 4. I actually liked 5 and 6 (not as much as 1-3, but they were good games).

I remember playing Love for Sail back in the late 90s. There was a mini game I think called "Where's Dildo?" a play on Where's Waldo?. I was way too young to be playing this.

Yes.
And if you find all plus all easter eggs, you get an extended ending with a sex scene.

Also the strip dice game is the hottest section in any video game.

Time for a replay!

Love for sail was great, enjoyed magna cum laude as a teen. Haven't played any other LSL game outside of those two though.

It's 2020... How is LSL still a thing?
This is going back to the Amiga/Commodore days.
Point and click adventure games are still a thing in Germany. European devs will bang these out on a modest budget.

I didn't play the last LSL, I heard it was not bad, especially considering how awful the 3D ones you could even call it a return to form. But I don't know if LSL without Al Lowe appeals to me much. I did enjoy that remake of the first game from a few years back.

I loved P&C games back in the day. I loved the Discworlds and Monkey Islands. Day of the Tentacle is always worth a replay too. It's just that Leisure Suit Larry is so 80s I'm shocked that people still care about the IP.

Dude, playing LSL2 back in the fall of 1988 was a treat for a 12 year old. Yeah I managed to pass the 'adult test'.

I’m amazed the Twitter terrorist SJWs will allow a game like this to be made in 2020 😂

Fond memories of 1 & 2.

SJWs never came for Larry because the games are satire, making fun of PUA culture, rather than celebrating it. Well, the 2D titles anyway, Magna Cum Laude and Box Office Bust maybe not so much. From what I understand the new ones are in the tradition of the original. The character is a sexist pig stuck in a bygone era, but that's the joke.

The 2D titles are one universe and from a time when PC gaming was a new, magical thing. The other ones I never bothered with.

Yeah they were classic. And they didn't come from a bad place. Al Lowe's like one of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet.

This is the only Leisure Suit Larry that matters! (Actually Part 2 and Part 3 were both pretty good too!)

Shesus, remember getting one of the entries for the Ps2 as a kid and playing it in the middle of the night because of how "haram' it is.

Turns out, the game was dumb as hell and made you play a minigame where you control a sperm to get into womens pants for that sweet sweet glimpse of 3D titties.

It still kind of amazes me that there's quite a market for porno games when I feel that just watching pr0n is just faster than playing a stupid puzzle game to see some 2D anime titties.

For me it was never about the pr0n, it was about the adventure! Also the reason why I played King's Quest, Police Quest, Space Quest, etc.

I mean, the logic behind the whole business of gaming is challenge - reward. Sometimes the reward is saving the princess. But decades ago someone (probably Japanese) said "Wait, why don't we fuck the princess instead?". If porn and games are your thing, porn games can give you a little extra poot of dopamine when you get to beat the meat after beating the boss.

When I was a teen I loved the things. Now I can't be arsed, but I can understand the allure.
