in all honestly and if we want to be really truly honest , no .... lol no. Returnal is a high grade AA ... morales is a dlc++, demon soul a graphic remake of an old old game with better textures . The only one who could really compete is Rachet ... but we can bet the account that Halo or Forza will sell at least 2 times what rachet will,

When Everwild was announced it was little more than a concept, they were mad (desperate?) to show anything that early!
A "high grade AA" game won a ton of awards last year, called Hades. Returnal is a better game, or at least in the same ballpark.
Hades was made by a core team of twenty-ish people. It barely qualifies as AA, which makes its quality even more impressive.

Asked about the status of the game during a Kinda Funny Games interview this week, Xbox’s Booty suggested the challenges Rare has faced are a natural part of the creative process.
“When you look at it from the outside, when you hear words like reset and maybe restructure, I’ll just say that those are probably a little more definite and a little more extreme than what really happens as a game comes to life,” he claimed.
On where the Everwild team is right now, he said: “They’re just trying to make sure that they’ve got something special. We’ve shown kind of a glimpse of a world, you’ve seen the art style that the team has got, but we want to get it right.”
Booty added: “We’ll share more on Everwild when the team has got some cool stuff to show. We know that there’s excitement and anticipation for it and we don’t want to just keep things hidden for too long”.
Supergiant is made up of developers who punch above their weight. Four straight amazing games proves that.
I really do not like announcing games 4 or 5 years before they could possibly launch. I don't know why publishers think it helps.
