Remember the launch of these games...
Destiny 1 - felt vanilla bare-bones, eventually fixed and refined over time.
No Man's Sky - empty promises, eventually became what it was intended.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 - loot boxes, removed loot boxes, changed direction.
Diablo 3 - Real money auction house, removed eventually and ported to consoles.
Grand Theft Auto V (Online) - bare-bones, lack of content, eventually fixed and still ongoing.
Now we have the same thing with...
Anthem - Released poorly, rumors of getting a second revive. Not sure if revive will bring back players, a major haul needs it.
Mass Effect Andromeda - Criticized for being worse than its predecessor, reception got devs patching it. The game was fixed but mediorce.
Marvel Avengers - Very limited, only 4 bosses in Initiative, being constantly patched with more heroes. Free heroes in DLC.
CyberPunk 2077 - Poor launch, broken on current-gen, will be patched eventually. With the track record of CD Projekt Red and the Witcher 3, U.I was revamped etc and expected free DLC.
Launches are bad, but games will eventually get patched. Our first impressions of these taint the initial experience.
These game developers are collecting data. We are all beta testers in a large scale. Eventually, these games will be patched. Eventually...
Anyway, have you returned to these games after its shoddy initial launch?
