Came to buy a new GPU,
There’s plenty of RTX 3070, all models...
Is that 8gb the real issue with this card? Looks like nobody want to grab one of those.

better to wait for 3060 ti or jump to 3080?

8gb is clearly not enough.

I think people learned their lesson back when PS4/XBO first came out and all these so called experts saying current memory amount on gpus back then was enough.

Depends on your needs. @1440p and below I think it will be a great card for at least the next couple of years. It's basically a 2080ti with a bit less vram.

If you game at a higher resolution then you'd be better served waiting for something better to become available.

It's a fantastic card by all accounts, especially if 1440p high frame rate gaming is your thing.

Don't let the VRAM cult convince you that it's a limitation. It won't come into play at 1440p.

I wouldn’t buy it, unless you’re gaming at lower resolutions or you’re just going to swap it out in a year or so.

8gb will be the minimum requirement for octane... my bad. Gonna wait !
