Good lord. Really is no shortage of indies coming our way.

So many of those look amazing.
Games never stop coming out or being reveal. I could technically learn about something new every day. Been learning about ~10 new games every weekend for the past two years

Thanks for the post More_Badass.

The indie game I'm most excited about coming out in 2017 (hopefully) is Tacoma (made by the makers of Gone Home).

Oh, for sure

Which is why we really appreciate you doing all the work for us and bring all these games to our attention :p

It's neat seeing all of the different ideas. The thing with indie games, though, is many of them come from new or unproven devs, so it's hard to get excited about them because we don't know if they'll be good.

For example, the WWI horror title looks amazing based on its one screenshot and brief description, but I go to their website and there's barely anything available, not even a video. :-\

That being said, I appreciate More_Badass' enthusiasm and the way he wears his heart on his sleeve.

Wrong about commas, wrong about everything
Great thread.
I'm super looking forward to Tokyo 42, not sure if it has a confirmed release date so far though.

Oh, and Ruiner. That game looks dope.

When's Rainworld supposed to be out?

Just a quick glance at these I'll look at them more when I get a chance but the following caught my eye. Hoping the last two get a console port at some pointt:

I love the indie gaming scene. So many cool projects. <3

Omori looked really cool in it's reveal but nowadays a don't have much faith in it actually coming out :(

Impossible Bottles looks absolutely lovely.

My indie list is growing each day.

Most anticipated: Katana Zero, Eitr, Death's Gambit, The Last Night, Below, Heart Forth, Alicia and Cuphead.

Note that THOTH is by Jeppe Carlsen, lead designer on Limbo and Inside, who also did the severely underrated 140.

Lot of great stuff on the way. I'm most looking forward to Home Free (https://youtu.be/ahBSQrX1yOE), and the forever-in-development Spy Party (http://www.spyparty.com/) and Miegakure (https://youtu.be/XfiFBsKi7go).

Edit: Also, unsure about the aesthetic but Beau Blyth (Samurai Gunn, Hyper Light Drifter) did combat for Tormentor X Punisher (https://youtu.be/kkrFF-vxyfk) so you know it'll feel amaaaaaaazing.

Oh, yeah, I could never include every interesting game.

Regarding The Last Night, the dev said on Twitter that the next devlog coming this month will be discussing the visuals. So expect new screenshots finally.

TLN dev said:
Oh <3 This screenshot has traveled so much now. It has seen things you wouldn't believe… We're so far from this now!

Saw Lost Ember gif and immediately fell in love.
Went to follow Mooneye Studios on Twitter.
Realized I already follow them...

Funniest part is they tweeted out a sick looking poster yesterday, and I was like, "That's cool, but what's it for?"

I'm Wozman23, and I'm an indie-holic.

Another fantastic thread More_Badass! Going to sub to this and check them off as they go, quite a few I knew of already but lots that are completely new to me as well. Another great year ahead for indies.

Stardew Valley for consoles later this year?

I think the thread is geared more towards titles not released in any form on any platform. Of course, Stardew is one to get on any system it hits!

That is NUTS.

Can't wait for Her Story 2. I hope it's a spiritual successor and not a direct sequel since I feel like the original is a complete work.

Eh, whatever, super stoked for whatever that team has in store!

No worries. Barlow confirmed that it will have no narrative connections to the first game

Regarding SCALE (mentioned it a few posts up), that's probably the first-person puzzler that I'm most excited for since...Portal? Or maybe Antichamber

It's a mechanic I've never seen before, and if the dev's thoughts on design and mechanical possibilities are any indication, the usage of those mechanics will be brain-bending.
