In 2018, the God of War reboot did what some considered unlikely: Turn a murderous, rage-aholic warrior into a sympathetic father figure and revitalize a series that felt as if it had run its creative course. With the sequel, God of War: Ragnarok, on the horizon, let’s catch up with ol’ Kratos, his son Atreus, and where we last left the Nordic realm.

God of War: Ragnarok, developed by Sony’s Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, is the upcoming follow-up to 2018’s blockbuster God of War. God of War Ragnarok is set to release in 2022 on the PlayStation 5 (PS5) and PlayStation 4 (PS4).
