How so? Other games dont have this issue.
The cell is difficult to program on. It's issues on PS3. I said partially, and that is true.

If a game came out on Xbox Series S with issues people would say it's MS fault. MS had to devote resources to get Unreal 5 ready for Series S also. If you guys think the cell architecture has nothing to do with the performance of Skyrim, that's just not true.

Be that as it may, I think his point is still valid. They wanted the money from that userbase so they made the decision to put the product on there, so they should have taken the responsibility to make sure it didn't have issues but I am already seeing conflicting reports there, I didn't play it myself.

Yep, fair point for sure.

Regardless I'm not discounting that this person may have taken it off from someone else.
I consider a 50/50 chance

Some people are insiders that just looked at something cool and shares with people. They obviously have NDA stuff, so they're usually pretty careful with it. Like the HUGE Xbox leak with the Titanfall Xbox and stuff

But sometimes I can see an insider just talking to somebody in a bar or something

Starfield is too important for Xbox. I’d love for it to come out sooner rather than later, but If Bethesda wants More time please let them have it. Don’t fuck this up!

Game of the generation. See that's I'm saying, the hype is gonna be hard to match with reality
Not exactly. I know what I like and this is exactly it. CP77 was a flawed mess at launch and it was easily the best and most fun game I played in years. I'm not speaking for others, but I know exactly what I want and Starfield is it.

If the game was that unsteady in a cherry picked demo I’m expecting a technical disaster unless there’s a big delay or a massive downgrade.

That demo was shown in June 2022, 5 months from the projected release at the time. It’s gotten a further delay, so release approx a year after that demo.

I think it’s weird to use the performance in that old demo to judge the current or even release state of the game.

This is Bethesda/Microsoft's fault though.

From Bethesda marketing it as "ELDER SCROLLS. FALLOUT. Now.... STARFIELD", to Bethesda announcing it literally 5 years ago at this point, to Phil Spencer saying he wants Starfield to be "bigger than Skyrim"...

They've set the expectation. Now it's on their shoulders to meet it.

Well, yes? they've been VERY open about saying that Starfield is the biggest (non-MMO) game they’ve ever made, and it’s their most ambitious.

They’ve set the expectation they wanted. Not sure why you’re painting this as ‘their fault’

It's their fault that they've created hype that's going to be so difficult to match with reality, is what I'm saying.

I sure hope the game does live up to the hype though.

Redfield looks quite cack tbh so who really cares about that.

Starfield has everything riding on it so would be grave if released as a buggy mess as is Bethesda's custom.
