The XSX's velocity architecture does not help it claw back some of the SSD performance. The only unique feature I've seen it having is a hardware filter that helps with sampler feedback streaming, but even Microsoft says it only may help reduce pop-in at page boundaries. The raw PS5 SSD speed advantage should eliminate pop-in, so in practice that wouldn't be an advantage.
