It's a more aggressive line-up than I think they've had before.

Vampyr (PS4, Xbox One, PC)

This story-driven Action-RPG is developed by Dontnod, the creators of Life is Strange. Investigate the mystery of the Spanish Flu in 1918 London as a doctor and newly awakened vampire, forced to choose which citizens you must feed on to survive and improve your vampiric powers and combat skills. Every single citizen has a unique role in London’s ecosystem and each death will have dire consequences. Bound by your Hippocratic Oath will you choose power or principle?

The Surge (PS4, Xbox One, PC)

The Surge is an Action-RPG set in a near-future dystopian Earth on the verge of collapse. The Surge features a unique combat system that allows you to precisely aim your weapon strikes to hack off enemy limbs and equipment to attach to your own exoskeleton.

Farming Simulator 17 (PS4, Xbox One, PC)

After seducing millions of players worldwide with its previous versions, Giants Software brings its new iteration of Farming Simulator back to the newest generation of consoles and PC. The game will offer a load of new features to be unveiled at E3 2016!

Space Hulk: Deathwing (PC)

Bring glory to the Emperor in this new first-person shooter with tactical elements from Streum On Studios. Based on the tabletop game of the same name, the creators of E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy are bringing xeno-slaying terminator armour and the Warhammer 40,000 weaponry to Unreal Engine 4.

Styx: Shards of Darkness (PS4, Xbox One, PC)

Styx is back with a thrilling new stealth adventure full of twists and turns in the sequel to Styx: Master of Shadows. Styx creeps back in a new adventure packed with bigger production, plenty of new features and a new engine: Unreal Engine 4.

The Technomancer (PS4, Xbox One, PC)

The Technomancer is a sci-fi RPG set on Mars to be released on June 28, featuring dynamic combat and an epic story line, where your choices will affect the fate of the Red Planet. You are a Technomancer, a formidable warrior harnessing destructive electrical powers, ready to embark on a perilous journey across a planet torn apart by conflict and infested with mutant creatures.

Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom (TBA)

The debut Action-RPG from Enigami brings you into the world of Mahera, where the power of Shi flows through each and every individual. Travel with Chado and his friends as you explore and battle your way through the Meonis Plains using fighting game mechanics like parrying, dodging, and super combos. Each character has a unique fighting mechanic and an explorative skill to solve the puzzles in Mahera’s dungeons.

Mordheim: City of the Damned (Consoles, PC)

The video game adaptation of Games Workshop’s cult-classic tabletop game has a brand new DLC: The Witch Hunter Warband. Rogue Factor is bringing the fanatic and tenacious Holy Order to their turn-based RPG, complete with Zealots, Templar Knights, and Executioners.

I wonder if there's any merit to the rumor that Cyanide has taken over the development of the Call of Cthulhu game initially developed at Frogwares? I was hoping to see that game in the lineup.

[edit]
Oh damn, just looked it up, and it does indeed seem like Cyanide is confirmed to have taken over development. Still a shame that it won't show up at E3 though.

Oh hells yeah!

Farm Sim is the greatest game that no one plays.

Well, no one on 'Gaf, anyway.

Can't freakin' wait for the reveal.

They're both developing their own games now.

Cyanide is developing "Call of Cthulhu," published by Focus Home Interactive.

Forgwares is developing "The Sinking City," not published by Focus Home Interactive.

Both are Cthulhu games~

That's interesting. That's the first time I'm hearing Frogwares is developing another Cthulhu game. It makes me wonder if there is some bad blood between Frogwares and Focus Home.

Focus Home Interactive has announced the lineup of games it will showcase at E3 in Los Angeles from June 14 to 16.
The following titles will either be shown behind-closed doors by their developers or playable at the Focus Home Interactive booth on the E3 show floor

I wish it was possible for smaller publishers to have some sort of mini-presser. I would absolutely watch 30 minutes of products from Focus.
Maybe Keighley & YouTube will give them prominent placement on Monday.

So fucking happy we'll get a new Styx. So so good.

I saw a trailer for The Technomancer. I never played Mass Effect, but it seems like a melee-focused version of that, which has me really excited.

Lots of ARPGs on deck. Thats awesome.

If Vampyr is received well enough, maybe it will convince Eidos or whoever currently own the IP to delve back into Legacy of Kain.

There's a surprising number of Focus games I'm interested in! I'm excited to hear more about Vampyr, The Surge, more Styx, Shiness and The Technomancer.

So many interesting games in that line-up. I don't think I've ever been as excited for Focus' output as I am lately.

Super hyped for Vampyr, I've really liked all of Dontnod's (well, their two) games that they've released thus far, so I have high hopes for that one.

I also enjoyed Styx for what it was, but I'm hoping this sequel has a bit more polish than the last.

Nothing about the Cthulhu game and the Sherlock Holmes game?

Was already interested in Vampyr and Styx. The Technomancer, not sure -- Bound By Flame had some good ideas and mechanics but was overall pretty mediocre, and I'm kind of expecting something similar.

No idea about The Surge and Shiness, guess we'll see. [Real edit: oh The Surge is that new Deck13 game? It looked pretty terrible, no thanks.]

[Fake edit: oh wow they aren't publishing the new Sherlock Holmes, weird. Same dev (Frogwares), different publisher.]

some of those double A games have triple A talent on board. I've not yet loved a game by Spiders, but whoever does their music is punching way above their weight class.

I quite enjoy Focus games as they have some good mid tier stuff, I am a fan of Mordheim Release dates and price are important as they can often get overlooked.

and what can we expect from Deep Silver...

Mighty No. 9

also probably APB and they're announcing a new AAA game, probably either 4A or Volition.

NIS America does an annual press event where they basically rent a hotel conference room, invite journalists, serve some food and announce their years slate of games within PowerPoint presentations.

Is it a bit janky? Yes. BUT, for small publishers it's a good way to build relationships with influencers and market directly to their audience. They also get the news headlines to themselves for a day.

Really looking forward to hearing more about Vampyr. I enjoyed Remember Me (despite its issues) so DONTNOD getting another go at a "AAA" game excites me.

It looks like Sherlock Holmes: Devil's Daughter is coming out next week in Europe? Apparently the new publisher is having "issues" (according to the game's facebook page) that are delaying the NA release. :/

I hope one or two of them end up on Keighley's show, would love to see that.

Pumped for Styx and Space Hulk, that's quite a line up of games in general though, might be the best overall lineup of any publisher there.

O wow, a Styx sequel? That's a nice surprise, and something I never expected to see.

I liked the first one a lot, but there was plenty room for improvement. Looking forward to seeing the sequel!
