Everyone is going on about MS and Sony, but a Nintendo x SEGA merge could indeed set the industry on something big.
Why, so Nintendo can neglect the rich library of Sega properties as well?Everyone is going on about MS and Sony, but a Nintendo x SEGA merge could indeed set the industry on something big.
It's supposed to be big, that's why I'm thinking about it. Not wishing for it, though. Why, so Nintendo can neglect the rich library of Sega properties as well?
if this happens i am buying a switch lolEveryone is going on about MS and Sony, but a Nintendo x SEGA merge could indeed set the industry on something big.
It blows my mind that they used to be a respectable outlet. They were once considered one of the more strict reviewers.Famitsu is completely full of shit so it's probably nothing interesting at all.
I was just joking, it would definitely be interesting. I hope for something cool, but I’m getting the feeling it’s going to be nothingIt's supposed to be big, that's why I'm thinking about it. Not wishing for it, though.
Hard to tell what the hell is so "big" to be impactful, since we are in the verge of a new gen.
what if ...just hear me out, what if! Sony has also got the rights to Condemned too.
who the fuck would care about that? that IP is dead and forgotten in the eye of the general public...
It says a lot about both, to be honest.Fanboys limited imagination always amounting to Microsoft buying a studio or whatever will always be funny. Like there's nothing else that can come from MS aside from them buying something. It's hilarious.
Maybe its something to do with the eye tracking they showed in this video a few years back
No ones buying sega
Edit: Wait, I thought this was news about Sony.
Boo!
Don't be disrespecting Alex Kidd's Dad, there's a good boy/girl (delete as appropriate)Does anyone really care about Sega anymore?
My bet is on a Sega portable. It's a Famitsu exclusive which means it's more relevant to the Japanese market. Could be something completely stupid though.
I find it hilarious to watch the xbox fanboys trying their best to completely disregard that Sega's announcement will be on the same date as Sony's presentation and trying to find the most dumb excuses to convince themselves that they are 100% unrelated.
I mean it's very likely it will be completely unrelated but i wonder if they would have sang the same tune if Sega's announcement would have dropped on the same day as MS's presentation instead of Sony's.
Yep, I was thinking it was something like Switch. My bet is on a Sega portable. It's a Famitsu exclusive which means it's more relevant to the Japanese market. Could be something completely stupid though.
A SEGA handheld with eye-tracking? I would be buying that, no doubt. My bet is on a Sega portable. It's a Famitsu exclusive which means it's more relevant to the Japanese market. Could be something completely stupid though.

I'm a huge Sonic fan, but Sonic games haven't been 'revolutionary' since Adventure 1+2 came out. Heroes was OK, 06 was just shite, Unleashed had half a good game with the day sections, Colours was fun enough, Generations the same, Lost World was Meh, Boom was shite and Forces was shite. It's going to be a Sonic thing IF it's a SEGA thing.
Yup, it's just the weekly famitsu date. I even think the journalist teased us for the 4th because he knew the big Sega announcement would come directly from a Sega shiro CM one day before (june 3rd, Sega anniversary and then the technical details of the announcement in Famitsu the 4th)I'm sure Sega and PS5 reveal at the same day is a mere coincidence.
I love Ecco. Would love to see a new game in the seriesHighly unlikely thats its new hardware. Sega has given rights to others to make Streets of Rage, Shenmue, Panzer Dragoon recently. Nintendo now has Bayonetta. Ecco the Dolphin may be coming to Amico. You would think Sega would retain some properties for themselves if they were coming out with a console.
Also Intellevision Amico is making a big announcement Tuesday as well (a partner annoucement I belive) could it involve Sega somehow?
Other than that it will probably be just another Yakuza announcement. Yawn!!!
He's going with this.

Not sure, I just saw people talking about it. Hard to see this happening unless Sega gets a cut for each console sold.Who is this guy? Is he like my uncle works for Sega type of guy?
I know, right? Microsoft has been talking about making moves in Japan, but is Sega really the best gateway company for them? Sega does own a few big PC IPs that would slot nicely into Microsoft's stable, but that aside it feels like Rare all over again. A company like Capcom or Konami would give MS access to properties more in line with their audience and platform goals. Why? Would seem like a painfully arranged marriage.
