Famitsu Sales: 10/10/22 – 10/16/22 | Dragon Ball: The Breakers breaks into the top 10.

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of October 10, 2022 to October 16, 2022.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers was the highest selling new game release last week, opening at 4,609 retail copies sold for Switch. The PlayStation 4 version did not chart in the top 10.
Splatoon 3 for Switch remained the top selling game this week, moving an additional 97,071 retail copies.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 43,329 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 20,567 units, the Xbox Series family sold 3,551 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 11 units. Next-generation consoles continue to face stock issues.

yeah, it was a bit of a shock.

do find it kinda funny that the ps5 is now compared against the vita

Also in other news, the JPY did hit 150:1 to the USD but then came back down slightly 149.9 at the moment
Thats pretty wild how the LTDs add up

I know they love they love their Dragon Quest in japan, but the dqx offline sales are hell of a lot more than I was expecting. I thought it might have one strong week and then disappear. Good for S-E. That said, this only furthers my belief that you can crap in a box and as long as there is a Dragon Quest logo and a slime on it, it will sell in japan.

Disastrous stock for the Lite and bad for the other models. Makes Nintendo hitting their hardware target even harder.
