The real head scratcher here is Resident Evil 2 at number 16 in this list, but it is in second place for GOTY's worldwide.

Wow somebody in Japan played Detroit Becoming Numen?
They better be working on localization as we speak, I need another Vanillaware game in my life
Game bombed from what I've read and for good reason. No clean 2D sprites and it is a standard tower defense game. I have no idea what the fuck Vanillaware was thinking honestly.

Would DS get the same amount of votes if it would be the exact game but without hideo kojima on it?

They are a very small development studio, I don't think they have to sell millions to make a profit and in any case the worldwide release is already confirmed so no biggie.

It's more like a RTS with RPG elements and a separate Adventure mode, it's hard to compare to other japanese games because they don't usually make those types of games but in case you have played Heroes of Mana for Ninetndo DS it's kinda like that, the best general comparison I can make is with Vanillaware's own GrimGrimoire for the PS2, but apparently the story in 13 Sentinels is mind blowing and that's the whole hype with the game, not the actual gameplay.

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.
I'm surprised KHIII is #17. I was expecting to be it in the top 10.

Regardless of Death Stranding, if your list has a top ten with Dragon Quest Walk, Ring Fit Adventure, Pokémon Sword & Shield and Days Gone you know you have a crappy list. I mean those games are better ranked than RE2? That's BS no matter personal preferances.
