Will get for Steam. Need to give my PC some love. It's mainly been my son's Apex Legends machine since the PS5 launch.

There is a demo on steam for this game,i'm probably gonna try this thing tonight

Also some new gameplay from the demo, i didn't realized that this was a full blown metroidvania, i thought it was just a linear action game, so now i'm even more hyped.

A red panda bartender is definitely a selling point for me. Thats my favorite animal.

It makes me think of Doomfist from Overwatch, which makes me think about what a waste it was to make Soldier 76 the gay character when the guy with the rocket powered fist would have been a much more exciting gay.

the bear's voice does not match his look at all. I can't say I'm sold on the game. I'll take another look when it comes closer to releasing.

Steam says that he has voices in both eng and chinese.

I'm probably gonna leave the chinese voices for the shit and giggles...
I can't for some odd reason Taiwanese or Chinese is just unpleasant to hear for me. Which I find weird now that I think about it since I use to watch tons of kung fu movies in the past but had no problem with the language back then.

I almost always leave the original language to see the director's vision.

Also chinese is fucking hilarious to hear for an italian.

I do the same when watching foreign films.

I can't even imagine how those two languages would mix together in your brain.

Well shit, the demo is time limited and it expires in a couple of hours, get it now if you are interested.

Timed limited demos has to be the stupidest thing in this world close to porns with fully dressed actors...

Agreed, timed limited demos are idiotic. I'll wait for a demo to come out on playstation.

This was a big demo lol, i played for around 2 hours, there were 2 minibosses and one big boss and a couple of moves\abilities to learn.

I'm gonna day one the shit out of this game, i kinda love the badass rabbit protagonist, it reminds me of lugaru.

Controls are solid and the combat is simple but well made, and full of of different moves to buy.

The only noticeable flaw was maybe the unremarkable ost, but it was not bad, also the last 3 indies i played had incredible ost so maybe it's just that.

Why is there only one bad guy on the screen at any given time?
No, there's multiple enemies at a time (there's even a throw system where enemies do collision damage to each other.)

It is sort of an empty world, though; a Metroidvania usually is careful with its enemy placement and doesn't rely on like a melee combat system, but that's one fear I'd like to see allayed, the difficulty and sparse enemy encounter structure, I do want it to flex the combat system a bit more and not just be a "How High can you Max your Combo?" game...

Here's 19 minutes of gameplay captured on PS5 from upcoming Metroidvania action game, F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch. In this video, you'll get a chance to see some combat, get a feel for Rayton's platforming abilities, and take a look at a few of the character's skills, including Hurricane Slash, Power Tornado, and SP Skill - Arc Charge. This gameplay also features an English voiceover.

From TiGames and bilibili, F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on September 7, 2021. Its release date on PC is TBA.

Just completed the game in some 24 hours and I can't recommend this enough if you are a fan of metroidvania. I buy metroidvania games blindly and this game is right there as top tier. Decent difficulty, beautiful graphics, rock solid controls. Story is okay is but that doesn't matter anyway.

Do give this game a try.
