I’m sorry but this movie has perfect fucking casting: Andrew Garfield as Jim Bakker and Kingpin Vincent Fucking D’onofrio as Jerry Falwell? Jessica Chastaine is great too but I smiled when Spider-Man showed up and swear to god I clapped by myself in my living room when Kingpin appeared.

This is low key the best casting ever and I just adore this film because of it. It’s got the right tone of sweet and yet not pulling punches on hypocrisy of televangelists.
