Nah maybe halo 2

Halo 2s controls were nothing special. slow as shit movement and you can jump, that's about it. Halo 5s movement abilities are insane.

And it delivered on the chance it got. Still making more money for Respawn and EA than Titanfall 2 ever did.

I liked TF2 much more than BF1, but I did like BF4 so much that I got into BF1 and only later tried TF2 on console. I wish there would be TF3 instead of Apex, but I guess change is good.

Nah, Apex would have thrived regardless of where it launched. It has legs, Titanfall 2 didn't.

Plus, imagine Apex Legends launching in 2016 being the sole Battle Royale on the market. It probably would have done even better launching next to Battlefield back then.

I remember playing the crap outta TF2 offline and then going online to play Battlefield 1 with friends

TF2 is my GOTG sad that it didn't have a fair chance
