Hmm might buy DS2 at that price. Got that Souls hunger again after the DS3 DLC trailer and 60fps Souls is probably really nice.

It dropped to $20 retail after 3 months on PS3, it's been Humble Bundled twice on PC and been in every major Steam sale for $5 for two years now, and now its on a PSN sale for the first time ever.

Now's no more the time than any other time before. Just get it already.

Never had a PS3, haven't had a PC to play games with for three+ years and before that I didn't play anything but the whatever mmo I was hooked into at the time. Now it's on a sale for the only gaming system I have for the first time.

Nah maybe I'll pass.

And oh, my usual list of recommendations:

Alien Isolation - if you ever saw any of the films (if not, go watch asap) and liked what you saw (like you should), buy this game!
Wolfenstein(s) - come for the Nazi shooting, stay for the pulp story with surprisingly good writing and memorable characters
Dark Souls II - it's Dark Souls
Diablo III - it's great fun for local co-op

I wouldn't recommend the PS2 ver. of Psychonauts. Grab the PC ver. when it goes on sale for like $1

I'm not into stealth games, and even less in linear games, but after reading so much praise about Dishonored, I think I'll get it since it's cheap, and since I have no inspiration what else to play.
Who knows, maybe I end up liking it.

Yes to Gravity Rush. It has flaws in its gameplay (it's not bad, just a bit limited) but the world and the setting are incredible.

Oh hey Sleepy Dawgs is on sale too for PS4 and comes to around $10. Would've liked it if it had a Plus discount.
My nephews like playing Sleepy Dawgs on my Laptop so having it on the PS4 for them to play as a GTA5 alt. would be good.

R&C was a very faithful remake, but if you already played the original it feels very "been there, done that". I enjoyed it, but it doesn't really do anything new.

I know it might not be the best option available, but I have a nice little PS2 on PS4 collection going and I also don't PC game in general, so I don't see it as a huge loss...

I don't think you've ever played the OG R&C.
R&C 2016 is more action focused and is more of an Action Shooter than a platformer.

Gravity rush on PS4 is a must.

Can't remember the last time I had that much fun navigating the world. The gravity movement is awesome.

The world,, music, art and characters are great.

Combat is ok, it's not as bad as ppl say but is a bit repetitive.

I've played every R&C

Sure, it's the first game with the gameplay focus of the more recent ones. Doesn't really change the fact that it feels like I played it before

This is the cheapest ever by €5. It was €25 around this time last year. Most recent drops have been between €27-€30.

If you buy it... due to weird Blizzard nonsense it will prompt 2 downloads to start. It did for me a few months back when I downloaded. One is the English version of the game and the other (for me) seemed to be the Russian version. You dont need the two files to play the game in English. If you simply want to play in english find the file that has the game name with "(English)" at the end and cancel/delate the other. It will save around 40GB worth of your time.

Yeah I didn't realise this and I had downloaded the Russian version, had to download the whole thing again urghhh.

Now it's platinumed and never touching it again lol good game though

There's a lot of good stuff here. I already own way too much of that.

VC, RC, and Gravity Rush are all great remakes of great games.
Diablo III is fantastic, particularly if you have a couch coop partner.
Talos Principle has a mediocre framerate on PS4 but it's an incredible game, one of my favorite puzzlers, and pretty high on my GOTY list last year.

Dishonored isn't great as a remaster, but it's still far better than any other console version, so it might be worth your money with the sequel around the corner.

It's like that time I tried to be smart and deleted one of the two files, except it was the wrong one and I only had the Russian game. Had to redownload the whole thing.

Just play on normal / hard difficulties. Anything higher is just not fun imo.

Otherwise the only thing I'd suggest is don't get to attached to equipment. A better item is always around the corner.

Make sure also you pay attention to which attack stat a particular class is for. Don't want to be giving a barbarian an item with intelligence /dexterity.

Game is totally playable solo.

Could be lowest price ever. I bought my retail copy during gamescom 2014 for €30 and was happy as hell. Maybe I should unbox it sometime and start playing it...

Wat?! Might buy again, as I sold my used retail copy after my first playthrough, might buy again for that price.
