The company that's buying dozens of studios, Embracer Group AB, is a Swedish video game holding company based in Karlstad.

Some of their studios and IPs:

-Gearbox (Borderlands, Brothers in Arms, Duke Nukem)

-Koch Media Subsidiaries:
Volition (Saints Row, Red Faction)
Warhorse Studios (Kingdom Come: Deliverance)
Milestone (MotoGP, MXGP, Ride, Monster Energy Supercross)
Flying Wild Hog (Shadow Warrior)
Dambuster Studios (Homefront: The Revolution)

-THQ Nordic (Darksiders, Desperados, Sine Mora, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy)
-THQ Subsidiaries:
Bugbear Entertainment (FlatOut, Wreckfest)
Black Forest Games (Destroy All Humans, Giana Sisters)
Piranha Bytes (Gothic, Risen, ELEX)
Purple Lamp Studios ("port house"?)
Rainbow Studios (MX vs. ATV, Motocross Madness)

-Saber Interactive (they have developed World War Z, NBA Playgrounds, SnowRunner)
-Saber Interactive Subsidiaries:
4A Games (Metro series)
Aspyr Media ("port house")
Zen Studios (Pinball FX, Zen Pinball, CastleStorm)
New World Interactive (Insurgency)
Snapshot Games (Phoenix Point, Chaos Reborn)

-Coffee Stain Studios (Goat Simulator)

-Easybrain (mobile games)

-Tarsier Studios (Little Nightmares)

And there's some more....

What do you think of this?
Will they try to do some subscription service like EA?
How are they getting all this funding?

Kingdom Come, Metro, Saints Row, these are fucking S-tier games. These guys have so many of my favourite games! Based Embracer. 🤘

Just wish they'd have acquired Focus Home too, or at least Deck13 + Spiders (they're with BigBen now). Oh well.
