It's an awesome game, VIII was my first Dragon Quest game.
I wish Square Enix will re-release it on the new consoles...

I have sunk close to 200 hours into DQ games and never beat one. They are good but way too fucking long. I hope I can beat 12. Came very close with 11, just had a couple of hours left of the epilogue.

Playing dq11 for the switch (first dq) and loving it. Always heard 8 was great as well. I recently started using my 3ds again so I should throw it on there
