I buy the games I’m excited about day one, like I recently did with Xenoblade 3, I don’t see any reason why I should wait.

I buy games when I want to play them, whether that's Day 1 or 3 years after release

Usually day 1. I don't see the point in waiting a year for games i'm excited about.

Used to buy highly anticipated games day one and everything else way later when super cheap. Now that I have like 900 games in my backlog and a Gamepass subscription I only buy games when they are 70% off or more

I just started Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles on Wii.

Last gen, bought almost all games i was interested day 1. This gen i only bought 2 games day 1 so far, and most of the games im interested in, i will buy when they get cheaper. SO right now i will only consider buying day 1 games that im really hyped to play. And there are not many games that get me that hyped.
