DICE LA Working on a Battlefield Game Confirmed

DICE LA confirmed to be working on a Battlefield game! The studio that's headed by Respawn's Vince Zampella is now working on EA"s main shooter franchise.

Early last year, EA announced that Respawn Entertainment boss Vince Zampella was tasked to lead DICE LA, and that the studio was working on an unannounced game. It seems the guesses on what the studio is working on can be laid to rest, as it’s now been confirmed that it is indeed a Battlefield game!

Over on Twitter, Senior Design Director at DICE LA Justin Wiebe made people guess what EA franchise he was working on:

Maybe it will have bots, then. And yes, I'm aware I might be the only dude wanting to play an mutiplayer-focused game exclusively with bots (I spent many, many hours playing Battlefront 1 and 2 (the classic ones) and Battlefield 1942, Vietnam and 2 like that: only with bots).

it is the stockholm studio making battlefield as usual with LA studio helping. It is a collaberation.

Stockholm is DICE main office.
