Three senior Blizzard employees are no longer with the company, according to a new report by Kotaku.

Diablo 4 director Luis Barriga, lead level designer Jesse McCree, and World of Warcraft designer Jonathan LeCraft have reportedly been let go amid the ongoing allegations of harassment and abusive culture within Blizzard. Their names are no longer in the company directory, and a source within Blizzard confirmed to IGN that they have also been removed from the company Slack channel.

While the development teams were reportedly informed of their departure, there has been no internal communication on the matter within Activision Blizzard, IGN's source says.

Both McCree and LeCraft were tied to the recent "Cosby Suite" report, which revealed that Blizzard developers would gather within a hotel suite to drink and make sexual remarks about women. It has been tied to the reported "frat culture" that led to California suing Activision Blizzard last month. Barriga had been with Blizzard since 2006 and worked on Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls and World of Warcraft: Legion.

Lead content designer Cory Stockton was also among those in the "Cosby Suite" photo, but is reportedly still with the company.

As the story has continued, we have compiled a timeline to continue tracking events. We also wrote an in-depth report based on conversations with several sources with Activision Blizzard.

We reached out to Activision Blizzard for confirmation of the departure of Barriga, McCree, and LeCraft, but have not yet heard back.

The story so far about Activision/Blizzard lawsuit

That's crazy. Diablo 4 was already in development hell. This might be a good thing.
Diablo 4 was never in development hell. Stop spewing crap that's not true. When the game was originally announced Luis Barriga came out on stage at Blizzcon and said the game is very long ways off and is not coming even as "Blizzard Soon"

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?
Welp guys. I guess that means more time to play D2:R.

This is a god damned mess.

I'm not too familiar with the situation, but that just make it seem like they gathered in a hotel to have a drink, chat and sometimes talk about how some women were hot. Is that it? Is that really why these people were let go?

Luis Barriga seemed like a cool dude in the D4 developer diaries. What a shame. Hopefully D4 is on the home stretch now anyway.
