Not RAM expansion. There are no swap files or virtual memory. The ssd’s purpose is solely for putting stuff into ram quickly. Loading , streaming, etc.

Yep the only writing part except for the obvious ones would be the quick resume on Xbox series because they are like flashing the memory into the ssd so that's writing.But for the rest there's no need to write when you play beside saves,screenshots(video) and download too.

Got 6500 with my 2TB SN850.

Same speed with the 1TB version. Originally wondered if I had a defect or screwed up heat sink since not 7k.

Also, I kind of wish I got the 2 TB as both drives will be filled by the time I get home already. But not really gonna be a big deal since I've got at least 3/4 a TB downloading just because I have room now.

they not only ones who tested this with more diff SSD's too , so why talk about them alone ? kinda stupid. make trhread about PS5 fw and put there all videos of all tests. thats much better. didint read or will read any post like those rly... its just doesnt make any sense rly
