Hi friends, for the next two months, I'm going to focus solely on saving money. So, I'm going to pick one game, but I'm undecided.

For my next adventure, I'm looking for something "distinctive and unique"—the kind of game few people venture into, yet which are truly excellent. Here are my choices.

Thank you

I cannot recommend any of those games.

Sekiro & Nioh are the best games in that list, Sekiro easily one the best games ever made, that dance of parry and sword feels incredible. If you finish Sekiro, I suggest Wo Long and Rise of the Ronin next. I love the aggressive fast combat of Sekiro (and most Team Ninja titles) more than Souls combat. (ER & Neightreign are fine, the world and variety makes up for it)

I finally beat Sekiro this year after getting stuck on The Owl first battle in 2019. That's what you need to do too.

If you pick only one game for two months, you should pick one that has quite a bit of content. I think this excludes Ninja Gaiden and Shinobi, which are great games, but not very long.

How about Stranger of Paradise ? That's a Team Ninja game. Game is awesome and a lot of fun.

Otherwise Sekiro, but this will be a more frustrating experience. Depends on your mood I guess.

Try Sekiro first. However, be aware that it is not a Soulslike. It began as a Tenchu game and then From decided to put a lot more combat and action into it. If you don't end up liking Sekiro try Wonderful 101 or Romeo is a Dead Man. They are both "Auteur" games, though. Very much a reflection of how Kamiya and Suda think about game design. Sekiro is more "approachable" in that sense.

The answer for a unique and distinctive game, few people - in the west - venture into could and should always include the Wonderful 101 - especially on the WiiU tablet -, 3D dot game Heroes on PS3 and Valkyria Chronicles on PS3/PC
