The PlayStation 5’s new tech has helped us more fully realize the world of Observer in Observer: System Redux. Ray tracing and 4k visuals have let us create even more realistic environments, while the extra power of the console means better animations, more detailed faces, and smoother movement, all contributing to the overall immersion.
PlayStation 5’s features are hugely helpful for all games. 60FPS isn’t just great for shooters: System Redux’s 60FPS helps solidify the fear of our psychological horror. What we were particularly interested in were the fast loading times enabled by the PS5’s SDD which let us create scenarios that aren’t cut up by loading screens or level design elements that funnel players into areas like elevators and corridors to mask loading. In System Redux, you’re no longer left waiting for a door to open.

The game will also be making use of the PS5's DualSense controller unique features like Haptic Feedback and more.

Observer: System Redux PS5 version launches Nov. 12, when the console officially releases.

It's kind of a walking sim, but I thought the original was really good and this should be even better. I'm looking forward to playing it again.

I will occasionally play a waking sim and I do like horror games so maybe I’ll give this a try. I enjoyed one on the PS4 although the name escapes me... it was set underwater and was quite good from what I remember

It's certainly not my favorite genre, but this one has a cool SciFi/horror vibe, good voice acting, story, and art direction, plus some cool puzzles so it kept me entertained far more than the typical walking sim.

I wish you knew that name of the game you mentioned, it sounds interesting. Please post the name if you think of it.
