Yup same boat. So much cool things about it, but seems like it could have something about it that may be tedious that I wouldn't be able deal with.

Came in here to say exactly this.

I'll get my copy on Monday. Hopefully, I enjoy playing it. Combat seems to lack impact, and the sound doesn't seem to mesh well with your hits. I'll see for myself soon. Exploration and equipment customization seem fun, though.

Hmmm,it's a game about a furry creature running around in a fantasy land from a european dev......not a lot of room for wokeness there.....probably gonna get marked down by the US critics I think.

It has a complex crafting system and gunplay, figured it would be somewhere between MH and Ratchet in terms of complexity.

I don't understand this. I saw a similar comment on the steam forum where someone said "it should have come out in 2017", but... I really don't understand this, do you guys actually really see a difference between games from a few years ago and games from today?
I know games from the ps2 era that have better gameplay than some games releasing in 2021, this "it's too dated" logic is super weird, I don't see what's "last gen" about it.
If a game is bad in 2021, it would have been bad in 2010 too.

Although it's really pessimistic to say such things about this game, But i really do hope it succeeds and i will probably buy it off steam some day in the near future.
