Among the many BR's out there, only Apex Legends streamers are nominated in this category.

Nickmercs used to be (mainly) a CoD streamer, but Warzone didn't offer the competition he strived for, so he started focusing on Apex Legends about 6 months ago.

The answer can simply be that none other BR has introduced a fully fledged ranked mode. Apex Legends has ranked modes in both Battle Royale and Arena.

ALGS (Apex Legends Global Series) is also extremely popular on Twitch and the prize-pool keeps getting bigger and bigger - impressive for an only online event.

Fun to play and fun to watch, really describes Apex Legends best.


When Apex Legends released there were 8 legends to choose from and 1 map (King's Canyon) - 3 years later there are 20 legends, 4 BR maps (with many map changes through the years), 6 arena maps and Control event (Domination-like) were introduced with Season 12, which may be a permanent mode.
No other BR delivers on so many aspects - no other FPS delivers on so many aspects.

EA and Respawn has one hell of a game on their hands - and it's free for everyone to play - even on mobile in the coming months.
