I don't get Atlus. There is clearly a demand for the Persona games, especially 3/4/5, outside the Playstation platform. Why are they keeping it on Playstation when there is practical a JRPG thirst on the Switch and PC.

That's why I'm being more cautious with saying it haha, tho with all these remasters coming, one can't but ask for a port/remaster on the platform one owns.

If Atlus announcement is something that fans have really been waiting for, then ports/remasters have more sense.

I think port begging only really becomes a problem when practically every game announcement is immediately followed by post after post begging for a port to the poster's system of choice, rather than discussing the actual game itself. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to be a huge problem here, which is probably why the moderators rarely warn people for it.

The last company for holdouts on PC. Even though I own pretty much everything they've made I'd buy them on PC again. For me they easily have been making the best JRPGs for years.

I know people want Persona but the handheld library would be great at some point.

I just want games that aren’t on platforms that are deader than disco. Too many great games are languishing on old and busted platforms.

I prefer shit ending up on PC because then you’ll know it’s out there for basically forever. But I’m okay with it sticking to consoles or any of the big three individually as long as it can be played on a modern platform.

It’s probably time to let it go.

Sucks that the Sony exclusives (both Vita and PSP) and PS1 classics are stuck there forever. Maybe someday Sony will dive headfirst into the PC market with its back catalog?

I'm trying to temper my expectations but these ports would be PERFECT for me. PS was my entry into the Persona series, and I love the crap out of it. Would love to play 3 and 4 on PC

If it's done by Sega Europe, then PC is their primary base. I don't doubt it'll eventually come to modern consoles.
