I rolled my eyes. This argument was getting out of hand. I grabbed the Nintendo fan's Switch and snapped it in two over my knee. "This is what I think of your silly console," I said.

To my surprise, everyone on the bus stood up and started clapping. "Finally, someone with some sense!" one woman shouted.

I couldn't believe it. I had just stood up to these ridiculous console fanboys and won. From now on, I knew that I would always stick to my PC. It was the only way to play.

Ohhh yeah, I am starting to recollect some more details of that day:

It was a typical day on the bus, with people chatting, reading, or listening to music as they made their way to their destinations. But one conversation caught my attention. Two guys, one wearing a PlayStation t-shirt and the other sporting an Xbox hoodie, were loudly debating which console was better.

I rolled my eyes at their antics, knowing full well that both platforms had their pros and cons. As I walked past them, I couldn't help but interject.

"Hey, guys," I said, "both of those platforms are for losers. Real men play on PC only."

The two gamers looked at me with shock and disbelief, but before they could respond, a third voice piped up.

"What about Nintendo?" asked a guy holding a Nintendo Switch.

I didn't even give him a chance to finish his sentence before I grabbed his Switch and snapped it in two over my knee. The guy's eyes widened in horror as I tossed the broken pieces onto the floor.

"Sorry buddy," I said, "but Nintendo isn't even in the same league as PC."

The bus fell silent as everyone stared at me in shock. But then, a fat bearded guy spoke up.

"What about my Steamdeck?" he asked nervously.

I gave him a once-over, assessing his battered laptop with a skeptical eye.

"It's acceptable," I said grudgingly.

Suddenly, everyone on the bus stood up and started clapping. It was a surreal moment, with all these strangers giving me a standing ovation for my superiority in gaming.

But then, someone stood up and shouted, "What about Stadia? It's the best of all!"

Everyone burst out laughing and mocking the poor guy, who slunk back into his seat in embarrassment.

And that was the end of the argument on the bus. From that day on, I was hailed as the ultimate gaming expert, and no one dared to argue with me about the superiority of PC gaming.

Yep PS5 mainly but also have PC gamepass and Quest 2. PC gets it done but only have a 3060 right now so not pushing anything hard.

I don't think the statement is controversial, I think the only platform I've ever owned that I didn't like was the Atari Jaguar and maybe PS3 at the time.

Lots of great games to enjoy on all current platforms :)

It's not GAF unless platform Z is better than Y. We even go to war about retro consoles around these parts, don't you have some church group to attend to or something?

Great mindset. And nah churches scare me. Sometimes it's a breath of fresh air to have a positive thread about a hobby we all share. There's enough war and cynicism going around daily. It's healthy and nice to appreciate threads like this because in the end we share the same hobby. Cynical pricks. =P
