Concept art for a cancelled Scarface 2 game has emerged online.

Posted by YouTube user Mafia Game Videos, the screenshots, which have been released by former employees of Radical Entertainment, show off the Las Vegas strip as well as the surrounding Nevada Desert.

Interestingly, the screenshots have seemingly been on the various artists’ Art Station pages for years, but have only now come to light thanks to this video.

In-game screenshots of what appear to be environments in the game have also been released showing off the lobby of a casino and a parking garage.

Scarface: The World Is Yours was an action-adventure game developed by Radical Entertainment and released in 2006 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, Wii and PC. An Xbox 360 version of the game was planned but never released.

The game, which served as a sequel to the film, saw Tony Montana seeking revenge on his business partner-turned-enemy Alejandro Sosa.

While several members of the original cast returned to voice their roles, Al Pacino did not. He did, however, allow for his face to be used in the game, and apparently hand-picked the actor who voiced Tony in the game.

The first game received positive reviews, with the PlayStation 2 version earning a 75 on reviews aggregator Metacritic.

Developer Radical Entertainment was known for a large number of licensed games during the PlayStation 2 era. In 2005, it was acquired by Vivendi Universal Entertainment, which would later merge with Activision in 2008.

Radical’s final game as the lead studio was 2012’s Prototype 2. It would serve as a support studio to Bungie during the development of the first Destiny.

Game is a Masterpiece(Scarface The World Is Yours) Yeah It had performance issues and a few design flaws that pissed me off(when gangs attacked your turf and you don't have time to reach them in time because your henchmen suck ass)

At least they got the shooting mechanics right unlike all GTA Games(on PS2) that had this garbage auto aim.

I also thought it was a fantastic game. The soundtrack was really good too.

Not sure if you played them but if you did would you say its better than The Godfather 1 and/or 2? I loved those games.

I've played The Godfather 1/2 and Scarface.
Scarface isn't as good in terms of story but it was fun running your empire and unlocking things. calling somebody to deliver your car was a nice touch too.

The first game was pretty fun. Shame it's not available digitally anywhere.

Open-world games never really clicked with me except Scarface and Sleeping Dogs.

I actually like this game better than the movie. Such a great game, wish it was BC on the Series X.

I actually never got around to playing the first game, I figured it was going to be mediocre, but the name itself would sell it. I guess it did really well cause I never would've imagined a sequel. Is it still worth checking out?!

Save for the horrendous draw distance, that footage actually looks pretty fun. I've been pining for an open world game set in Vegas but it seems like they always get canceled.
Besides this one, I remember Midway was also working on an open world Vegas game before they folded, and then Mafia 4 before it got shelved then got rebooted again recently, was also suppose to be in Vegas.

The first one was pretty fun back in the day, If a bit shallow.

3rd person shooters from the ps2 era have not aged to well. Been playing the OG max Payne today and while i love the story and visuals, the enemys however are quite primitive.

The first game was so, so stupid. Like it just retcons not only the ending but the entire character arc and point of that movie and turns it into this stupid tacky self parody.

I never played that game but my impression of it was forever tainted by a guy I once knew. He was one of those idiots who watched movies like Fight Club and more to the point, Scarface, and thought that Tony Montana was the coolest fucking guy in the world and wanted to be just like him without even piecing together what was the point of the movie in his smooth brain. He just wanted to be gangsta all the time. So naturally when this game came out, it was the only thing he played for months and it was like the best game ever to him. He always got angry with me when I told him that it looks like crap.

Therefore, I just never bothered to play it and I still don't get the appeal. It looks like a shitty GTA clone and that's all there's to it. I feel that anyone who watched the movie and actually got that Tony was a piece of shit would probably laugh at how stupid the premise of the game is, but as for the gameplay, idk, maybe it's decent but I just don't care.

I had the same feeling as you before playing the game. I wasn't particularly a fan of the film, in fact I thought it was a bit overrated; however, the game was just balls to the wall fun It was everything I had hoped for in an open world game since GTA III released. I actually feel like this game redeems the movie a bit. I just love the first level, especially blowing away the shotgun toting assassin that kills Tony in the movie.

WTF are you talking about?? I enjoyed the movie and yes the ending was the consequence of Tonys behaviour and he thought he is untouchable.

Tony was a piece of shit?? He refused to kill children and that's the reason why Sosa send a Killer Squad after Tony.

Maybe you should watch the movie again before you talk shit like this again.

The Game was like an alternative ending for the movie I enjoyed It a lot.

Game had better shooting mechanics than all the PS2 GTAs.

The premise of the game is stupid? Not for the people who wanted Tony to survive.

Your comment is just plain stupid.

I suppose you and that guy I was talking about would have a lot in common.

Was a darn good game, sold a couple mill iirc across all paltforms or close, andan official sequel too, so fans of the movie basically had reason to play it.

had quite a few problems but was better than every GTA before San Andres where they finally found out how exploration movement and uh....CAMAERA worked. The camera makes 3 and VC unplayable to me.

Imagining Scarface Remake in Unreal Engine 5, A Dream that we Hope will Come True | TeaserPlay's Exclusive Concept

in this video we are going to imagine Scarface Remake, A great nostalgic game that we need now in next gen graphics, we tried to use all the power and features of Unreal Engine 5 to recreate this such as Lumen, Nanite, Ray Tracing and Metahuman to Create Tony Montana (Al Pacino)

Graphics look dope. But we all know that this is a concept video.

That's why I look past Tony's deformed face. Just like his penguin walk.
