It was a blowout year like I'd never seen. Also Tinykin, Immortality, Citizen Sleeper. It was like we had some GOTY level indie every month all year.

I've thoroughly enjoyed Tunic and Signalis as well (all indies released in 2022). Oh and Cult of the Lamb was cool, too!

Fuck I completely forgot this game existed. Always wanted to check it out. Got big FEZ vibes from it.

Every year is a solid year for indie games, not particularly 2022.

But i think 2019 was the last truly great year, from my personal experience at least, it's hard to get the full picture with indie games.
