I liked the movie, it has good characters and also the art is wonderful.
I do not care about the criticism of the cinema, but I think it is a good movie.
I think it has more PS5 graphics, not so much PS4. And it still looks spectacular.
Too bad people did not know how to value the film, I do not know if it is due to an act of stigmatization or some other factor that has condemned it.
What It condemn to the film was the name of Final Fantasy, which has nothing to do with its commercial brand.
I think that another name or adding elements similar to RPG or some other medieval factor could have had a better reception ... or the idiotic human factor that "It's a video game movie, yuck"
It could have been these factors that doomed the movie

Oh ya, this movie.
Sony gets a bad wrap at making games with a heavy movie focus. Square made an actual video game movie 20 years ago. Somehow this movie had a $140 million budget in 2001. Thats more the double The Matrix's budget (the first film).

Yes, but keep in mind the technological advancement and the computed system that managed to make the CGI of the film compared to the technology of 2017, it is very impressive.
