I’m an 8th grade American History teacher. My first summer job I made $30,000 in two months of constantly working. I took that last month before college and traveled across the country. That didn't change much in our lives really, my parents were already rich from their businesses/work, and I'm a top 1% earner where I work. We grew up way poor so they worked for it. I had lots of school debt and medical bills, like a couple of hundred of thousands to repay hence why I'm not that ahead financially.
