Clearly heavily Galaxy inspired - a good thing too - not enough games have been inspired by Nintendo's Wii platforming masterpieces.

It looks colourful and pleasing - Sega seem happy to leave the shitty friends and guns behind - no Uzi wielding dopplegangers and bats with tits. Music sounds nice.

Unfortunately it looks like a return to BOOST BOOST BOOST HOMING ATTACK SPRING BOOST utterly mindless gameplay that pollutes the series - a shame when they actually did something half-decent with classic Sonic back in Generations.

Sonic's eyes are still the wrong colour though. One day they'll learn.

It's only the first footage of the game. I wouldn't even be surprised if this was just like the first level. Give it a chance before you start criticizing it.

Looks like the 3D segments are much denser in terms of obstacles (Or at least i hope so). 2D segments looked neat as well, though i hope 3D is the focus of the game.

Sonic cycle stopped applying a few games ago. Arguably with Unleashed (As thats where the day stages were born), but definitely with Colors/Generations.

The Sonic Cycle hasn't been in play for almost half a generation now. Unless Sonic Team messes up the gameplay element in some way, I doubt it will ever return here.
