Not everone is a thief, has a pc, is technically inclined, or has time for that (or some combination of all of those).

I have no issues buying old xbox games like this and I have already digitized my exiting library of those consoles*. Its just nice to have access to that stuff from anywhere instead of having to take a laptop with a hardrive loaded to the gills with images.

Yea I already hate the camera. I'm going to have to use controller remapping and flip the horizontal.

Same. As someone who was pretty heavy in the Xbox ecosystem from the 360-Series era, who has now moved almost exclusively to PC: more of this please.

it tells you on startup to press Menu and View at the same time to bring up the overlay (same way you bring up the guide in 360 games on Xbox One/Series X), and in that overlay is an exit button.

yes all four of them are, I thought conker was w11 exclusive but it was just slow on the upload and became available 30 minutes later after my post in this thread.

so you can play Jet Set Radio Future, Halo 1/2 pretty decently, but something like FarCry Instincts has severe visual issues.

Conker is for example not really playable last time I checked, but runs basically perfectly here at 1920p 30fps

thanks for this emulator (Xenon Fusion) by Microsoft, almost 900 games are playable on Xbox 360 (yeah, 2005 hardware) with only minor issues.
all thanks to modders getting around the whitelist of supported games, and thanks to back porting the Xbox One and Series X updated version to the 360.

now imagine if people get that emulator running on PC without the limitations it currently has!

Cool initiative but personally I never cared about 95% of Xbox's exclusive slate. Virtually every Xbox 'exclusive' I've ever had an interest in was also released on Windows. The only exceptions that I can think of are Fable 2 and the Mistwalker RPGs, so I'm looking forward to finally checking those out (if they make the jump).

Correct, it should be made BC, it's MS published From Software game. 360 BC games will likely expand to PC also by November.

If you want to go balls deep into OG Xbox (like I did) you can just get one, get an OSSC (unless you have a CRT) and an internet cable and you are done, online + good games. You want on the go? Xemu is already on Android and IOs, and since you dont want to be a 'thief' you just get your games and then the images.

This just cattle behavior of 'Please! Let me just get digital licenses of 20+ year games Microsoft!" or even worse "Please Asha! Let me rent older games!!"

Not that long ago everyone where shitting on Sony for trying to force people into digital licensing but now this is a 'good' move? This is a worse version of what we have right now.

Just tried out Conker. I feel like I should have all of these games, but it's the only one showing up as owned. Ran it with AFMF at 60fps and it looks and feels smooth. Cool stuff. Would be nice to get a bunch of 360 games supported like Gears 2/3, Crackdown, NG Black, Lost Odyssey. I guess we'll see how it pans out. They better hurry or they'll get left in the dust by all the decomps happening lately.

How did you get it to 60fps?

Mine only runs at 30 with no options to change it I can see.

We know that 360 emulation is in the works…because the new releases themselves literally run on a 360 emulator.

A good majority of 360 games already had PC versions, back during the time of their releases.

I had a 360, outside of maybe Forza/Gears/Halo most games that gen were on PC, in full HD 60 FPS+.

NG Black btw is not a 360 game.

The OG Xbox has a library that's more unknown, and games that will surprise people who never owned the console.

Yes i wouldnt expect them to have it. But they need to have some way those with disc collections can play there own games they already paid for.
