Chicken, Beef, or Pork?

Lamb is ok but is several tiers below chicken, beef and pork. First few bites are pretty good, then it starts tasting weird. I'll take goat over lamb and it's not even close.

Let's be honest, chicken is practically a vegetable and shouldn't be included in a poll about meat. OP should instead replace it with lamb, the best of all meats.
You just won't quit with this lamb agenda, eh?
Roasted lamb rack is fantastic, though. 😍

My first thought is Beef due to variety of cuts and flavours but that also means no bacon, that's tough.

Also, pork is significantly cheaper than beef meaning that you would get to consume it more frequently and still save money.

So, I voted beef but the case for pork is pretty good.

In the US, the infrastructure to produce goat meat isn't industrialized like it is for beef or chicken, so it's more expensive here.

Seems like a cultural thing, too: people think it's "weird" even though it's delicious. So not much demand to increase production.

Goat cheese is great too. Tastes like Feta.

A Haitian friend of mine put me onto goat years ago and I couldn't believe how good it was.
Goat is definitely an underrated meat.
Never had Haitian goat, would love to try it some day. You should absolutely try birria stew, not tacos (though, those are great too) when you get the chance, they're not all made equal so it will vary in taste.

When it comes to meat

Chicken is by far my favorite. I love eating chicken burgers, chicken wings and chicken tenders

Beef is a close second, I love brautwurst, hot dogs etc

Bacon is good to but I'm not a fan of bacon strips, I'm more of a fan of pork

I usually don't like meat on my pizza but Pepperoni is the exception. I love that Pepperoni Pizza

With Pasta, I prefer just plain sauce with veggies

I chose beef as my favourite, but if it would only be one for the rest of my life then perhaps chicken would have been more versatile. I don't think I could live without fried chicken.

Beef not only for taste (nothing tops a good steak) but for the overall nutritional value. You can get lean cuts of beef and no other animal product (aside from eggs) offers a more balanced and vital set of nutrients your body needs.

Chicken is the best for me. I like a good steak and ham, but I can't go without wings, fried chicken, chicken legs on the grill, etc etc.

Chickens also have a very fast generation period and take up less space. That means more chicken. Chickens also make eggs.

Chicken goes with everything so that's an easy win. I love spices too much.

Same reason I'd never choose meats over plants if I had to pick one.

Pigs are natures walking garbage disposal units not fit for human consumption plus they are very Kawaii ....desu

and as someone who stopped eating beef from 2005 to 2025...I vote BEEF feels so good to be back

I only like chicken when its processed, breaded and fried to hell so basically I don't actually like it

Most people would think the answer is beef. I can't imagine going my whole life without another piece of cow, lol. Then chicken is actually my fav. Coming from the south friend chicken is a staple.

....but my answer is pork.

Bacon
St. Louis style Ribs
Pork Chops
Hot Dogs
pepperoni, salami, bologna, prosciutto, chorizo, bratwurst
breakfast sausage
Fucking lard in a dixie cup

Pork is slightly more versatile and definitely underrated on the meats scale. Your pizza would never be the same without pork. As far as flavor, beef is beef but also pork belly is pork belly, tenderloin is tenderloin, and pork chop is pork chop. I think if you smoke a lot of food you might be more prone to select pork. That said, a smoked chicken thigh can be heaven. Beef, man, I'll tell you one thing. I make a smoked meatloaf that will make you a believer in smoking beef. Still nothing beats my cheesy smoke stuffed jalapenos!

Actully I LOVE pork. I love pork belly and everything about it.
If you take actual flavor, beef would be the top. But for versatility, I will have to go with Pork, especially for some good Chinese cooking.
However, I chose Chicken this time. I think I chose pork last time when the same question came up here...
I know chicken is so bland but it can be most healthy protein option (of chicken breast). I also love chicken thigh, which you can never really overcook and so juicy.
Boil them, mash them, stick'em in the stew! (mashing meaning chicken salad)

And I will take good fried chicken - whether southern, korean or Japanese Karaage on majority of beef or pork dishes. Sometimes you just gotta have them.
