I mean, this is fantastic, but wtf at having to wait until December to finally have all 3 upgraded?? Oh well. Looking forward to playing them again.

The first Xenoblade upgrade launches today. Man I'm hyped. Wonder if Torna will be considered when Xenoblade 2's upgrade launches. I own the physical version.

These upgrades are nice and gives nice excuse replay the game again before the new Xenoblade comes out.
I beat the first one a couple years ago and would totally play it again with these upgrades.

Stopped playing 2 because of the awful performance. Didn't even touch 3 to wait for the inevitable Switch 2 edition.

I'm so glad they're all being upgraded. Just freaking awesome.

Everyone would've been happy if they had announced just one upgrade... but doing all 3 over the next half year is amazing.

I do hate that I replayed XB2 recently (because I was kinda losing hope for upgrades anytime soon), but I haven't touched NG+ and Torna yet. I haven't bought a Switch 2 upgrade so far, do save games transfer?

Anyway, I hope they learned from the bad feedback they got for XBX. Maybe they do a better job with these 3 and XBX gets patched, but tbh anything will be an upgrade for XB2, that game's image quality is just so bad.

I still need to finish Xenoblade 1.
I'll play Xenoblade 2 on emulator so I can patch out this terrible, butchered localization.
But as I still haven't even bought Xenoblade 3, I'll definitely get the Switch 2 edition of that one.

Xenoblade updated to 2.0. I think the upgrade is live? They will cost $10 a piece.

Edit:

I bought it and its updating now.

It's Nintendo 1st party games, so it will be fully on cart.
They'll probably also follow the "Switch 2 Edition" tradition with these carts, meaning not only will they be fully playable from the cartridge but will also work in the Switch 1.
