This guy thinks people in Africa playing on a Playstation 5 don't have access to internet.Don't worry, next quarter will be better considering the number of users who will abandon PlayStation 5 because they can't connect their consoles to the internet due to DRM.
The African market will ultimately opt for Xbox.
Gaming rev down 7%
Down, down, down but delusion is up, up, up!!!!
How does hardware continue to go down by such a high percentage?Welfare said Xbox was holding better than he thought just a few days ago

With all due respect, PS5 and Switch 2 sort of cancel this low sentiment in regard to game market, of courseQ1'26 was not a great quarter for discretionary spending, with consumer sentiment reaching some lows after what happened all with Iran. That said, can't say I'm surprised and hardware sales were going to be down for Xbox regardless!
Yes, MS, the company, is equal to MS, the gaming company. And the former, with its shareholders, is oh so willing to support the latter.MS stock up by 20% since last month. MS Killing it.
That's what make it fun, she actually has hope. And Asha really believes that they can still release $200 million budget exclusives to these receding numbers.
It's over.
Keep this in mind when Helix launches and MS is like "it has increased our hardware sales by 200%!!!!"
Its unbelievable where xbox is now, after spend +100Bi with Studios AcquisionsThe Xbox console brand is even more dead than Concord at this point. It's down every quarter for like the last 5 years. It's beyond dead, it's a zombie platform.
I think it'd be a pretty massive shockwave if Xbox died completely. It'd make Microsoft look even worse than usual, it'd be admitting total defeat to Valve, they would probably face some sort of large class action lawsuits from all the people who would lose their game libraries...I really wonder why Microsoft wants to hold on to Xbox. They could drop the brand and not notice it missing
The lower the number, the proportionally higher the change becomes.Honest question.
How the fuck can your hardware decline double digits every single quarter?
Like, what's the final hardware number?
7?
I honestly don't understand the math. At some point the number has to be so low that there's no way you'll get double digit declines. And yet every single time.
They sold 2M in 2024.How many Xboxes are they even selling at this point? Hardware revenue is down 30% every time, but what does that actually translate to? (no doubt the numbers are so horrific they'd rather keep that info obscure).
