Lmao, you have no idea how it works or how good it is, opinion rejected. I also have a 3070 Ti but it pales to the Cloud service at Premium Tier.
A 550 dollar card like the 5070 should really have been 16gb at least. The 5080 is a pretty bad deal too because it cost a 1000 dollars and still only has 16 when it should have had 20 at least.Yes the biggest problem with the 5070 is the meagre 12 GB of Vram, you can be playing perfectly fine ram up the texture quality a bit and the game starts to stutter, run at sub 20 FPS or straight up crash. The GPU is quite powerful but hampered by anemic VRAm
So you have to lower the resolution or texture quality in order to be able to play, a shame because it is quite capable as a gpu
Yes I think that's the future for me as well (if I ever fully switch to PC gaming). Hoe many months of GFN can you buy for the price of one graphics card?
Tried Ultimate a fews days ago, and there was very noticeable latency. The picture quality was also noticeable weaker. People just get used to what it is.
I did. I have fast internet too. The latency is certainly there. And stutters ever so often. You didnt go to settings, did you. Also, proof of ultimate and your internet itself? Literally has Reflex now but "latency". Puhleeze.
If you only run at 1440p or lower, never use DLSS for upscaling, never use DLAA, never use FG, never use RT no matter what even though it's basically always left on with a 5090, never go higher than 60 hz refresh, never use Reflex in lag sensitive games, and never use more than 16 GB of VRAM, then sure maybe it's a good ideaI've seriously been tempted to replace my 5090 with a 9070XT and pocket the difference.
My 5090 (4090 for the moment) is ready
My normal 5090 is enough for me.
My 5090 is not ready hahahaha
My 9950x3d and 5090 will emulate the shit out of the switch 2![]()
Run ok on steam deck run like fire on my 5090!!!! Great game so far
Glorious PC master race 240fps lock, overkill settings 4K DLSS quality FGx2.
With my 9950x3d and 5090.
Since january I push my 5090 to its Limit and its fine….
I'm not even fine with a 5090….maybe I should go back to 2k 500hz
Thinking of buying another 5090 and selling my other for a nice fat profit!!!
If my 5090 die…pc gaming is over for me. Fuck those price.
So my 5090 is going to be worth it's Price if I see the bright side
My 5090 Is ready but my switch 2 will serve me well Since I'm leaving for work this weekend
5070 is the best if you want the most RT perf/$
When I buy GPUs now I mostly look at the RT performance since any of these GPUs can handle raster admirably.
I did. I have fast internet too. The latency is certainly there. And stutters ever so often.
Sorry, not the experience Ive had. It was akin to local for me. 2 ms ping on Fiber on a 2GB connection.
Path tracing is completely irrelevant at this point since most games don't actually have native path tracing integration (external 3rd party mods are required most of the time) and performance is not great on even the best GPUs. Most gamers would rather run the games at higher framerates rather than use path tracing, and for those who do want path tracing, they certainly wouldn't be running it with a 12GB RTX 5070.From HUB 9070 XT review.

Techpowerup skewed results since they didn't include path tracing in 9070 XT review and included some titles with more raster focus w/ light RT (with weak RT RDNA3 topping one of the charts). 5070 typically wins in path tracing.
For only $50 difference yes the 9070 XT is worth considering.
None of the mid-range GPU this gen will age well longer term.
Where I live, you get 70 (!) months of GFN for the price of one RTX 5080. Imagine how well the 5080 performs after almost 6 years.Lmao, you have no idea how it works or how good it is, opinion rejected. I also have a 3070 Ti but it pales to the Cloud service at Premium Tier.
Hopefully this means that games will be more optimized for mid range hardware
It's not bad but going full dlaa vs balanced your cutting your frames with pt by 1/2. I believe before fg with pt at 1440p native your hitting sub 60 fps. So that leads to a more uneven play experience when you are doubling sub 60 frames.5070 is definitely not as good as a bang for buck as the 5070ti lol.
5070 is already at a expensive 600 dollars so for 150 dollars more and you not only get 4gb of extra vram which is pretty important especially for the future but the card itself is already stronger than a regular 5070.
Wait PT DLAA with framegen is bad? It works flawlessly on my end with the latest hot fix driver. 595.76
I went with PT DLSS quality without framegen before but switch to PT DLAA with framegen x2 since it looks a bit better. Both settings still have high fps so I just stick with PT DLAA framegen x2.
Thank god GFN is around. The quality is some magic. Playing RE9 max settings with path tracing along with 150-200FPS has been a great experience. My sub is running out and will be adding another 6 months when that ends.
I believe it was a 5090 but I may be wrong.I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch which GPU you have?
I think cloud gaming is an American thing. I live in Norway, and my closest server isn't even in my country. It's in Sweden. I also live in a crowded apartment. Too much wifi interference. Glad it's working well for you. It's currently too many issues here.

Cloud gaming sucks.
you're happy you didn't buy a GPU before the value increased like 70%?All good in 4090 land. happy I didn't join the rat race for this 5000 series crap.
It would be an amazing deal if they were 100% equal. But I went looking into it, and maybe 1/3rd - 1/4th of the games I owned and wanted to play at any given time were available on GeForce Now.Premium at 80 Tier Card, Free Upgrades: 5 Years = $1000 for $200 sub/yearly; you can do the math from here.
Performance: 5 Years = $500 for $100 sub/yearly.
Founders: Unga Bunga savings capped at $5 every month for Performance Tier forever so $60 a year means 5 Years = $300. $10 off Premium.
You can do monthly too but its double the price. Buying bulk is the way.
You know that raytracing and path tracing consume even more VRAM? At 1440p, it's already getting pretty tight right now. That's why I switched from a 4070 Super (12 GB VRAM) to a 9070 XT.I'm not worried about 12 GB right now since I game at 1440p with DLSS in demanding games and I upgrade GPUs every generation. I haven't had an issue and that includes me playing some path traced games.
I'd rather have 12 GB today with faster than 9070 XT RT, than 16 GB for a card that performs worse than a 5070 in RT today, and I'm not paying $1000 for a 5070 Ti...
If next-gen consoles really have 32 GB of RAM, then both 12 and 16 GB GPUs could become obsolete at around the same time... I expect next-gen GPUs to get a VRAM bump, would have felt bad paying extra today on what is potentially the last generation where 16 GB is at a premium while not even really getting to take advantage of the extra RAM (since I upgrade every gen and don't foresee 12 GB being an issue till next-gen GPUs arrive).
That's old. The drivers have significantly improved performance, and it's now closer to the performance of the 5070ti, or even sometimes better. From HUB 9070 XT review.

Then it makes sense. Well, I hope you get server blades in your country soon. Makes sense. There was one in my city.
That was exactly my experience. Every time I get GeForce Now, I end up playing the same old games again because too much is missing or it takes days to get online. It would be an amazing deal if they were 100% equal. But I went looking into it, and maybe 1/3rd - 1/4th of the games I owned and wanted to play at any given time were available on GeForce Now.
Did you even Watch the video in the OP??? It's about the Lightning 5090 and Matrix….wtf are you on?I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch which GPU you have?
For anyone playing with a mouse that added latency for the roundtrip is quite noticeable on GFN. There is no discussing physics after all. And the picture compression is also a bit hit and miss. And that is near the absolute best conditions with a ~10-15ms ping on a 1Gb+ line.No it doesn't you loon.
Germany 19.99 a month - except there was a price increase that I'm not aware of, in that case the calculation will be a little less favorable, but still something to consider with the GPU prices these daysWhat the fuck. Where do you live? You get 1 extra year than mejelly. Is it a partner provider?

I think it'll be a while before there is a server in every city all around the world for everyone though.

Compared to having comparable hardware at home it does suck.
But it has gotten good enough to be a viable compromise if you only play here and there or simply don`t have the money to splurge on your own hardware.
Heck, with how broken hardware prices have become this might become the only viable option for a lot of people to experience games on a capable machine.....
Who is the "GPU Jesus" though? Is that Jensen? Can he convert AI to Games as a miracle? This topic should be called I didnt even Watch the video and posted about random GPU jesus

Who needs to watch the video the screenshot basically says it all varying prices from $2000 up and all the relatively same performance. This topic should be called I didnt even Watch the video and posted about random GPU jesus
My 5070ti better last 5 years at least. If not, I'm out. I'll be buying a PS6.Got a 5070ti back in November with my new build. I'm really happy with that GPU choice, especially since I'm running a 1440p display, so it should hopefully last me for a good while.
Yep. For me, there wasn't enough of an upgrade to bother in the first place. I can still run all of my games at 4K 60fps and up. It's eating up current games as well. Yeah, it's not popular to like 60 FPS these days but it's smooth as hell for me. The 4090 isn't going anywhere anytime soon. ESPECIALLY due to the GPU and memory bullshit going on.you're happy you didn't buy a GPU before the value increased like 70%?
Over the summer I sold my 2.5 year old 4090 for $2100 (400 more than I bought it for) and bought a 5090 for the same price. Now I could probably sell the 5090 for $3500+ if I wanted to. Best GPU purchase I've ever made, for all the wrong reasons.
