Next year looks MUCH better for my tastes. Gears of War E-Day, Fable, and likely a new Forza. Obsidian's games are boring IMO so all the hype about this being some amazing year for Xbox falls flat for me.

For the quantity of studios Xbox right now has this showcase was a very mid.

Specially since there are other games announced in the last couple of years that are pretty much a no-show, like Perfect Dark and Gears.

Where are whose? I mean, COD was just the showcase opener in the PS3/360 era, now it's the big and final surprise reveal?

Expect it to get worse in the next few years. Their studios are blowing their loads real quick.

Honestly, I really felt like that presentation well and truly blurred the lines between what is "Xbox" , what's on GamePass Day 1, and what's just some generic third-party product.

All I took from of it is that MS' future is generic, radioactive green.

Also, who sequenced that showcase? Anyone? It just felt completely random.

I'm kinda lost for words.

Good Showcase if you own a PS5/XSX (which i do) and a PC (which i also now do) but for anyone who like me owns multiple-platforms i saw nothing that makes me want to play any of the games on my XSX. I would rather just buy the games on PS5 or Steam.

That is the problem with MS making 99% of their 1st party titles multi-platform. There is really no reason (Gamepass isn't a reason imo) to buy or continue to own a XSX. After this showcase i am even more glad i got myself a gaming PC (9800x3D with a 5070TI).

I'm getting so tired of games announced 4 or 5 years ago that still don't have release dates and substantial gameplay previews. And actual gameplay. Not mock-ups. I sat through that presentation like a moron fully expecting a big Perfect Dark trailer. That is the one game coming from XGS that I've been waiting on.

Eco system mostly, Xbox now is having a handheld and all games are starting to be Xbox Play anywhere (easily one of Xbox's best features) means I can just carry my save on PC or switch back to Xbox etc without losing progress
