I love these kind of games, but i refuse to buy them based on one single criteria: its not the same with a normal controller instead of a lightgun. even a motion controller like the wiimote or move its tons more fun. (house of the dead Overkill with Move and stereoscopic 3D on the ps3 is legit awesome!) Why they didnt include any VR options either is mindbogling too, these are the perfect kind of games for VR.

The DualSense has motion controls.

Time Crisis 4 solved the lightgun on a modern TV problem. I mean, it wasn't an elegant solution, but it worked.

The Wii/WiiU sensor bar was a less intrusive approach.

Not including a VR option here is going to be blunder of the year for this developer. These games without light guns or appropriate motion controls are pointless.

No thanks.
Plenty of good VR House of the Dead type games out there already and I'm sure PSVR2 will be getting at least some of them.

Wait..... this isnt coming to PSVR2? biggest missed opportunity ever if not (could even have one person in VR and one using TV for multiplayer even though VR player would have a massive advantage score wise)

Edit: It does support move controllers by the way, and actually, come to think of it second player on TV could use one of the PSVR2 controllers, or you could go hardcore and dual wield in single player VR

They should have brought in Virtua Cop remake instead, though I guess House of the Dead goes along with the fashion right now with all things Zombies/infected.....what with all the rage about the Last of Us live action show.

Nah. I already have the Japanese Saturn version w/ light gun.

Like others mentioned, I'd be all about it if there was Move support or a VR mode.

Should've made it VR.
So much this.

On a (semi)related note, EA, take your head out of your ass for a while - you're already remaking Dead Space. So Dead Space Extraction VR, where is it? Such an obvious release, and (probably) wouldn't take a ton of work either.

Came here to say this. Would be perfect for PSVR2.

It's weird seeing that the game has no dismemberment or damaged monsters like the original. I'm still pretty interested, but it's just a little odd to me, lol.

lol. they can. if the can "force" third party to make exclusive games, the certainly can force them to make P💲VR games.

This idea that every timed exclusivity, exclusive content or marketing deal is one sided needs to die.
Publishers/devs often are the ones offering deals to platform holders (and guess what, the platform holder with the biggest install base get the best deals/or gets deals offered first).
In the short period I was in the "industry" i watched devs approach the Sony community manager at events asking who they needed to contact to get an article on Playstation blog in exchange for free dlc skins or stuff like that because they had no money for marketing.

So it just proves they don't force devs to do things they don't want to.
PSVR2 about to be released and this dev releases a game that would be perfect for it but doesn't support is the best proof of that.
