...

I guess they didn't need games this year after all. We must be much more disconnected from the general population than I thought.

I mean if they were going to get any award this year, it would be for managing to sell consoles on promises... again.

They didn’t publish anything though? They just bought a few companies that did.
I know must awards like this are bullshit, but at least pretend whatever it is requires effort and is worth a fuck! 🙄

It’s hard to market things you haven’t released. Yes there’s general marketing for th console, but I can’t think of anything in that regard that has stood out.
Thanks for the condescending reply though.
I guess being blind is nice. It's not like MS has any product that is called gamepass to advertise.

What do I know. I am just a nobody.

Reading comprehension apparently is NOT one of the talents of most NeoGAF members.

It's a fun game, albeit simple, to spot the posters who didn't read OP and are reacting solely based on the headline.

I did.
It makes no sense from the beginning.
Game Publisher.....................Marketing Award

I can't, for the fucking life of me, recall any MS XBOX related marketing this entire year.
Additionally, doesn't MS/XBOX just write the checks to OTHER marketing companies to do the work for them? Aren't these the creatives?

They heavily advertised gamepass nonstop. From xcloud, to smart TV, to advertising games like persona for gamepass.
You cant be in gaming social media, without hearing about gamepass nonstop.
