Always wanted to pay the first two witcher games but after starting with the third one, it was really hard going back to the old mechanics. All I wanted is 1 and 2 with graphics and mechanics of 3. Hopefully...

In this case I want a remaster, not a remake.
Same, I like the first game quite a bit it just needs some polish. I loved the scope, you weren't globetrotting and all the places you went to only made up a small percentage of the in-game world, it almost had that intimate Shenmue type of feeling to it.

The only one i didn't played and what people consider the one with the best story, can't wait.
I'm one of them, and I actually liked the combat - it was very coreographic and interesting when you mixed up things and played it properly (but people go for the path of least resistance and just mash clicks).
Act 2 and Act 3 inside Vizima are FANTASTIC on a writing/recreation standpoints. The believable political intrigue, the court, the murder investigation... it's all top of the line in RPGs. The rest is less interesting than that and can even be a little boring. But it's overall a fucking fantastic game.

Bring it. Played Witcher 1 by the time i bought Witcher 2, and the 1st game did not aged too well in the gameplay department.

HD sex cards!

I wonder if this is worth it. Witcher 1 is dated in so many ways, not just the graphics and the combat, which I suppose you can update easily enough, but it's still linear, lean on real story... It was a good game when it came out but Witcher 2 would be a much better target imo. Maybe they're planning to do that next.

The old gal deserves it, these guys after years of game making still have no fucking clue about how to make a game, back then it was even worse…if you can imagine that.

While I'm generally tired of remakes...this one sort of makes sense.
Not only are the visuals and gameplay of the first Witcher very dated, but it also never came to consoles so there's probably a ton of people who got into the franchise with TW3 and never played the first one.

Fuck off with the remakes. Have all creative people fucked off or what is happening with movies/games... Bleh.

They are making a new Witcher, and a new Cyberpunk and a new IP.
