Cyberpunk Edgerunner Patch Now Live

This patch is dope. They fixed a lot of little annoyances like cars going insta-reverse when you break at low speeds. The wardrobe transmog function is really, really great and adds a ton because now you can finally look the way you want regardless of stats. Body and additional modifactions at ripperdocs is also great, but has a couple of weird omissions [can't change tattoos, for example. I really don't understand why not]. Item preview in stores is another thing they finally added, which is cool.

I also love how they added an arcade machine. Such a cool idea.

I just found the Edgerunners stuff so I can't comment on that yet, but the braindance was dope as fuck.

Glad they are continuing to improve the game. Still going to wait for some more large fixes/changes before I continue my play through. I think i'm ready to come to terms that this game will never reach the potential it once had and just accept it as is.

The patch note where it’s says they’ve added secrets to the map has me most intrigued. I really enjoyed trying to get into hard to reach places but there really wasn’t ever anything ever cool in them. Randomised beneficial items would add a whole lot more playtime for me.

Been searching all over the internet for what that could mean, "secrets", but I think its all Edgerunner stuff

There's a weapon from the character Rebecca that you can find inside a bush, and the jacket + braindance that you can find in a trashcan in Santo Domingo

PS: I think that the anime will explain about the curfew in Watson that happens at the prologue when V is driving with Jackie.

And I'm pretty sure that the whole cast will die (there's a drink for Martinez, the MC, at Afterlife)

I'm very hyped for the anime

I went back to the game finally.. it's pretty damn good.

Anyone looking for a new game and hasn't played it, get it now.

Looking forward to modding it out as well.

I think a transmog system should be in just about every game that offers armor/clothing customization. With that said, I still don't really care about transmog when you don't see your player character for a majority of the time. I'd rather have had a 3rd person camera if I had to pick one or the other.

Aside, I'm glad the game is in way better shape. It's a fantastic game and deserves way more recognition, it's a shame that it will always be known for the horrible state it launched in. It sucks how it all played out, as the opportunity for so many cool ideas is essentially endless in a cyber punk world. Bummed that they are essentially just done and ready to move past Cyberpunk..

The Edgerunners content is literally a small clip from the anime, a bunch of text messages with a character you don't know and a jacket that's stashed somewhere.

I kinda expected a bit... more? It's called the Edgerunners patch, lol.

Same here. Everytime I get one it's just a big shoulder shrug from me.
Wow so by now you must have arnie's shoulder size since this thing is any fucking game short than tetris and barbie fashion model (surprisingly)

To me, looking like an idiot to have better stats or looking like you want with worse stats is just another role playing choice in an rpg, not sure why many players feel the need to cheat about this but they are ok with any other choice where you can't have both a lot of wine left AND a drunk wife, it's one or another.

As a game I picked up again for a fiver, and am playing on Series X upgraded, this is fine. Quite a bargain, in fact.

Still feels far less than what was promised, though.

I must be the only dude in this world that gives zero fucks about transmog and never used it in any game.
Your game characters must look likes clowns and maybe you do too in real life.

Transmog is cool. I've only really used it in Diablo. You can make some cool looking gear. Stats in D3 are everything so you can't really go with what looks good. In Cyberpunk the stats don't really matter too much so you can just pick whatever looks cool and forget about it. At least now you can get good stats, for whatever their worth, and still look good.

I'm pretty sure the gameplay trailers we saw had a "work in progress" watermark on it. If you feel disappointed then it's your own fault.

It was obvious the game direction was changed during development but people shouldn't pre order and maybe do some research before buying a game.

I'm quite happy with what we got. It has flaws but whatever I had fun with it and I can't wait to go back into it. The game looks like it has improved a lot since I last played it.

Have you ever heard of mods? No? Let me introduce you to them, they've been doing and adding much better content than CDPR.

https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/4213?tab=description it's been out for months.

I'm playing on PS5, you dope.

Doesnt matter where you play. I was simply stating what they've added was not really cool at all. Some random guy managed to add 4 games in a few months on the arcades and all CDPR did was just one game with all their billions of dollars. It's a fucking pathetic patch/content.

Wow dude, way to turn up to 11, maybe avoid to insult people for such a stupid related thing...

I explained why i don't use but you don't have to agree with me, no need to be rude.

Tried both the mod and now the one that came out on the patch.
Its honestly something that doesn't matter either way since its just a dumb minigame, but the roach one feels much more well realized, with cool soundtracks, more varied play and apparently an extra prize if you get high score. The one from the mod is kinda basic tbh, i even uninstalled it after testing it out like once.

I genuinely think the end product looked better than the stuff that appeared on that 40 minute gameplay.

I'm hoping for
1. 3rd person. All that fashion and transmog shit kind of means diddly when you dont' see yourself most of the time
2. Recumbent bikes so we can get the real akira bike

Does cross-progression works on steam version of cyberpunk?
I have finished it on xbox almost 100% and would like to get it on PC to continue there.

I'll wait for them to fix the police and idiot NPC behaviour.
Judging by the latest trailer for Phantom Liberty it looks like car chases will now be a thing. I also recall them saying that police chases would be a main focus for their next major update.

So, we'll see...

I hope we get new game plus soon. Also, more clothing options would be nice like the one that Cyberpsycho girl was wearing in the E3 teaser years ago. Prob won't happen, but a girl can dream.

I have one question about phantom liberty DLC, does your character build from base game transfer to the DLC or are you starting from scratch?

I wish they would give us new game plus soon.
also, this one might sound weird, but the audio balance is still kind of jacked in this game. My system and tv settings are perfect, but footsteps are so loud. I can turn it down in game, but they are still loud, but then the enemy gunfire is too quiet. Would be nice to have audio options to adjust various sounds each, rather than all audio on the whole. Turn gunfire up, footsteps down, npc chatter down, main characters voices up, ect.

CDPR is weird with audio, my main gripe was the radio stations had stuff on there that was basically inaudible over the game audio unless I turned everything down. Nothing was leveled out almost like they didn’t want to touch the tracks to even out the sound level between songs. They did mostly ok with the Witcher 3 but I remember The Witcher 2 to have an atrocious sound mix too.

Im at the last mission but everytime im going back to this game on PS5 im disappointed. It still looks weird, LOD is atrocious, filled with gfx, ai and animations glitches, controls are jank and the performance is all over the place. I dont think i had a single combat encounter where the frames are stable 60. Even with VRR on OLED it just feels bad

For as much as I love this game, this is the only game I have played where I am the worst driver in the entire world. the vehicles still fishtale when I turn and break, but also breaking does not seem to be responsible in that I keep going. I end up hitting someone or a sign because the car does not actuall stop. I even try driving slow, which is boring. With enough of a straight, I am fine, but anytime I have to break or turn or both, I become a drunken idiot.
