Never said you did, the bad faith is you pretending there's nothing wrong wit GFN and that it's a substitute for current consoles when it's not. Then continuing to pretend there aren't any cons. (that's not even including the data cap issue which is it's own problem, one guy used up 3GB of data playing an hour of Cyberpunk 2077)
Switch is a last gen handheld machine that's not comparable to the home consoles, you're only making your argument look worse. The One X is still held back by 2013 hardware with only a better GPU primarily. If you have to run to those to have an argument you never had a good one.

Illogical, discontinued consoles would not be what "NOW" covers, and you also had to remove context to even get this conclusion.
In 20 years the game will change, even Microsoft Meta and others will likely have streaming service (assuming new technology replaces what's holding cloud back) that will remove consoles from the picture, but I'm sure there will still bar hardware to put in front of the TV with some basic tech in it just for security, local, and accessory purposes, but once that login is created you'll be able to pull up your streaming account anywhere, with gameplay, crisp image, and no need for hardware causing mass adoption by the mainstream assuming people are paying less than $200 a month and data caps are either gone or improved.
But that's not now. Where there's no real reason to choose GFN 1080 or Stadia or even Xcloud over a Series X for the majority of users, and those who want the most optimized experience, and developers getting deeper into the hardware is going to have to be replaced by developers getting used to the hardware hosting the Cloud services too, and that's going to take time. Just how it is.
