Isn’t this the man from the ministry for silly walks? Anyway, now for something completely different.

The Sea is Always Right

In January 2006 in New York, the patient of a well-known psychiatrist draws the face of a man that has been repeatedly appearing in her dreams. In more than one occasion that man has given her advice on her private life. The woman swears she has never met the man in her life.

That portrait lies forgotten on the psychiatrist's desk for a few days until one day another patient recognizes that face and says that the man has often visited him in his dreams. He also claims he has never seen that man in his waking life.

The psychiatrist decides to send the portrait to some of his colleagues that have patients with recurrent dreams. Within a few months, four patients recognize the man as a frequent presence in their own dreams. All the patients refer to him as DICK.

From January 2006 until today, at least 2000 people have claimed they have seen this man in their dreams, in many cities all over the world: Los Angeles, Berlin, Sao Paulo, Tehran, Beijing, Rome, Barcelona, Stockholm, Paris, New Dehli, Moskow etc.

At the moment there is no ascertained relation or common trait among the people that have dreamed of seeing this man. Moreover, no living man has ever been recognized as resembling the man of the portrait by the people who have seen this man in their dreams.

The aim of this thread is:
- to help those who have seen this man in their dreams and to foster communication among them;
- to understand who this man is and why he appears in an apparently pattern-less array of situations in the dreams of such diverse human subjects.

I was in a car wreck years ago. As I came too, upside down, held in place by my seat belt, my vision was filled with a brilliant white light. Slowly this face swam into view - smiling upon me.

As the bright shine faded away and my vision returned to me, I realized that I was actually staring into the crotch of a policeman who was attempting to free me from the wreckage.
Sounds like this epiphany is trying to tell you you’re gay

I believe dreams are doors to different dimensions (since I was a kid), maybe they were friends of that person traveling, a meeting or similar. Of course, if this were to be "truth", I am a wanted man.... I took control of the other me (lucid dream) and was in a GTA spreed (I was a teenager when this occurred, and was good at controlling me dreams).

Another time, I was traveling in my country when I notice set of houses, I was like I had a dream of being here as someone else (dejavu?), and was kind of draw to stop and go there. Another one scared me, since I had a dream fighting a possessed person, and when I travel to that place in RL, there was an old abandoned house like the one in my dreams, and this was the first time I visited this part.

I don't know how to process any of this. Is this a meme or a creepy pastry?

Doesn't not bring you joy that there's so much going on on a collective subconscious level we still are in the dark about?

Let's ask crazy people if they've seen a man in their dreams!! They're the most reliable bunch.

I have a question for you: how many people seeing psychiatrists around the world are compulsive liars?

I bet it's waaaay more than have seen that douchebags' face!

Lol

I slept just fine. But when I woke up at 4am to leave for the airport my son told me he loved me and to have a good trip.
That might be a doppleganger and not your actual son! Terrifying!

Maiden Voyage Maiden Voyage do you have cameras set up to capture your Dick encounters? You could livestream and make dollah dollah bill, twitch while yo twitch brah
I'll PM you the link to my OnlyFans.

The last time I saw Dick was around June 10. I think about him frequently though.

those people don't exist and if they claim they saw him they are either lying on purpose or by misremembering

- to understand who this man is and why he appears in an apparently pattern-less array of situations in the dreams of such diverse human subjects.

he is noone and people claim a lot of weird shit that under scrutiny will turn out to be nonsense

He's real and he’s touched me. My heart at least.

So many songs about this sort of thing.

This one is more upbeat and has a guide in it. Maybe there's a clue?

This is my favourite for bringing guests to R'lyeh.

This doesn’t mean anything. Have you ever talked to someone in public? Of course they see phantom man. People are nuts and even if they don’t they will say they do.
